I bet any money it was the fault of the Police, they think they can do everything. My heart goes out to the family and friends of this young person/

I bet any money that you are a biased cop hater who has obviously been given many traffic tickets from cops (and I'm, surprised someone with biased hate like you actually has a heart). Its always easier to blame the cops than to focus on your own bad driving. Cops get in car accidents just like anyone who drives a car. Sometimes they get into car accidents with drunk drivers and they killed by them. If it was the cop's fault the city will pay out big to his family.

There is a LAPD in-car computer that activated at impact and will tell the speed of the police car at time of impact as well as other information.

Chances are that speed is an issue and wont be positive towards LAPD. There will be an out of court settlement by the City and she will be gone forever. Unless she ran a red light, which could have happened, the officers and the City will be in civil depositions soon and the City will try to figure out how much to pay the family.

Actually, most modern make and models have the sensing and diagnostic module "SDM" chip that has last-known moving statistics.

Devin was actually 25 years old, and a civilian, off-duty EMT (who was in the car driving behind the police car that ran into Devin's car) was the first to give Devin CPR, or any immediate attention, despite the numerous police officers who swarmed the scene.
