I had the pleasure of receiving a 6 week old feral kitten found by a neighbor. Feral mom scratched her way to freedom, while the kittens were successfully caught. This kitten proceeded to eat everything in sight, to the point of throwing up all after laying prone on the floor, groaning. It stole food from the table and bit and scratched when petted. I thought kitties were all the same, but after experiencing this disaster, I found out otherwise. It's unfortunate people will continue to dump animals who will then have trouble adjusting to domestic life when given the chance. What's the solution? I have a friend who takes neighborhood cats to some free spay and neuter facilities in L.A. Since the owners of these cats care little about them, at least she can avert a few litters of unwanted cats.

Deb,
Nothing can be done about the past. Let it go.

The politicians aren't going to investigate anything anymore. And trying convince everyone to vote them out is not going to happen either.

And stop listening to AM radio. That alone will make your brain nothing more than mush.

Focus on your own future, as it is the only thing that can be somewhat controlled. Just remember however that your future is probably not in anybody elses interest, despite what they say.

I thought all the crazy 911 people like Deborah Tannenbaum were now pushing for Socialized medicine. Deb needs to get back on message.

EDITORIAL OR DECEPTION?
Re: "Our View: Three for Hacienda La Puente Schools" 10/13/2009
Your editorial "View" is based on influence and not on facts.
Chavarria is the most visible, active, present, and engaged board member of the La Puente Board. He has implemented many AP and occupational/vocational classes.
Your editorial says nothing about the true character and record of Rudy Chavarria over 4 years.
It has deprived us of any knowledge of his goals and accomplishments.
Your editorial has misled your audience.
