Democrat v Democrat in divisive California congressional race

Nov 3, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reuters

Two rival Democratic congressmen are proving that similar politics does not guarantee amity in a hard-fought California race on the edge of Hollywood that has at times resembled reality television more than a congressional campaign.

Obama still creating division, dividing the Nation!!!
Liberal Idol???? Of course fits right in!! Vomit!

As is often the case when he goes off-teleprompter, at a campaign stop in Ohio today, Obama revealed a side of himself we haven’t seen since Hurricane Sandy gave him the opportunity to play The American President for a few days. The old Divider-In-Chief returned with a vengeance when in the middle of an attack on Mitt Romney he told a crowd at a campaign rally to stop booing and, " Vote! Voting's the best revenge!"

What he obviously meant was that voting is the best revenge against Mitt Romney.

What kind of divisive, ugly rhetoric is this coming from a sitting president? It's easy to sympathize with the fact that Obama's record gives few reasons for anyone to vote for him; and that for that reason, he's been forced to attempt to destroy his opponent with a half-billion dollars in negative ads -- but now the President of the United States is publicly telling a crowd of Americans to vote for revenge. And not just revenge, but revenge against another American.

But what else are we to expect from apresident who spent weeks on binders, Big Bird, birth control, and bull shit -- the president whose surrogates have used the word "felon" to describe Romney and accused him of murder?

This behavior isn't just unpresidential it's un-American

Our Divisive President
Barack Obama promised a new era of post-partisanship. In office, he's played racial politics and further split the country along class and party lines.
By PATRICK H. CADDELL
DOUGLAS E. SCHOEN
During the election campaign, Barack Obama sought to appeal to the best instincts of the electorate, to a post-partisan sentiment that he said would reinvigorate our democracy. He ran on a platform of reconciliation—of getting beyond "old labels" of right and left, red and blue states, and forging compromises based on shared values.
President Obama's Inaugural was a hopeful day, with an estimated 1.8 million people on the National Mall celebrating the election of America's first African-American president. The level of enthusiasm, the anticipation and the promise of something better could not have been more palpable.
And yet, it has not been realized. Not at all.
Rather than being a unifier, Mr. Obama has divided America on the basis of race, class and partisanship. Moreover, his cynical approach to governance has encouraged his allies to pursue a similar strategy of racially divisive politics on his behalf.

Democrat Legislature = FAIL
"This is what we must do to get our fiscal house in order and protect the safety and welfare of our citizens," said Mayor Ann Johnston in a press release announcing the filing. "We will emerge from bankruptcy with a solid financial future."
Both Stockton's and San Bernardino's fiscal troubles are due in large part to the massive housing downturn and recession that swept across California. Both towns were hit particularly hard by the foreclosure crisis, which left lots of abandoned homes and reduced property values in its wake. That translated into lower property tax revenues, which are critical to supporting public services.
Also, municipalities have also struggled from budget changes made on the state level. Suffering from their own massive budget shortfalls, Governor Jerry Brown and the state legislature made changes to vehicle tax money and redevelopment agencies that stripped locales of hundreds of millions of state funding.
While some areas of the Golden State are starting to recover, the regions containing those two towns are not, said Chris McKenna, executive director of the League of California Cities.
http://money.cnn.com/2012/07/12/news/economy/...
the reason why California is in trouble is not the housing downturn . The reason California cities are in trouble is because many of them pay uneducated employees like bus driver 85,000 a year plus benefits and very high pensions. All of California cities should declare bankruptcy to get out of these salaries that are causing the rest of the people to fall out of the middle class.
Even if California could afford the cost , people who don't work for the governmnet should not be paid so little and taxed so much to pay for the governmnet employees

BAD NEWS FOR CONSERVATIVES,

Things in the 2012 election seem to have taken a turn toward President Barack Obama's camp as early presidential polls have his projected lead widening greatly on Mitt Romney. As of the morning of Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, Obama's projected electoral vote lead on Romney has jumped to an almost insurmountable lead.

If the election was today and these projected numbers were to hold true to form, Obama would easily win the election 303-191 over Romney in electoral voting. 270 electoral votes are needed to win, and this has it not even close.........
