Where The Ragged People Go
#1 Jul 14, 2013
1) The Englarin (English + Mandarin): The prevalent and constant use of Mandarin Chinese in the show's dialog hinted at CHINESE DOMINANCE in the future. Although it is VERY LIKELY, American audiences are in deep denial and reject the premise. It was a turn off to many potential viewers.
2) The THEME SONG SUCKED. Couldn't the writers find a MORE STIRRING theme song for such an innovative treatment?
3) GEEK MOTHERS. The Mothers of the geek teen fans of the show were already feeling a little uneasy about a Call-Girl passenger aboard the aircraft, and her being elevated to a high-status, the writers pushed the envelope over the edge with the lesbian love-making scene and kiss. America wasn't ready in 2002 for that kind of thing yet.

A better theme song would have been that "Wherever You Will Go" Song. God, I really miss the shows characters. They really all clicked so well! My favorites were Kaylee and Saffron (even though the latter only appeared on 2 shows!- she had such a great body, beautiful skin, and such a little pixie face-even though she was a villain!)
