Hopefully, these students and their illegal parents will all be deported by 2012, so they won't be around to demand what they aren't entitled to have in this country. We owe them nothing but deporation hearings and swift deportation thereafter.

Deportation would be wonderful but I doubt it will happen.

Why are these kids mad at Americans? Why are they not mad at the people who brought them here.
If they are the best and the brightest,Mexico needs them.
Mexico is not poor and they have colleges. Many American students leave their families and go to college, why can the Mexican students not do the same. This whole Dream Act and discussion is really a stupid. My kids could not just walk into Mexico and demand what these kids are. They would be shot or beheaded the first time they opened their mouths. We are just telling you no to going to the head of the line for citizenship, and asking you to do whatever our laws say to get legal.
I am tiring of this fight and this discussion as I am sure most Americans are.

Trouble is congress doesn't care what the people think. All that interests them is the big corporate bribes they get for supporting illegals.

This is pathetic. The corporate media makes it sound like opposing illegal parasites means you're opposing christmas.

...and our politicians need to be taken to some serious woodshed! This crap shouldn't have even been on our US Congress agenda, much less being seriously advocated to the point of ad nauseum, with vicious attempts to ram the Dream Act down our throats. I lost count of the times that Harry Redidito changed the bill in order to get votes. What a prostitute!

These students, as well as all other illegal aliens have been so politically favored that they feel emboldenden to reveal their status, KNOWING that nothing will be done. Illegal aliens are subjected to a different set of laws than the average American citizen...they can get away with driving without a license, they, so far, have the right to refuse to tell you if they are here illeglly. If they are arrested, they protest the conditions of the jail, which in most cases is clearner and better than where they came from. They are demanding rights and benefits, and our president feels as though he at least owes them a downpayment!!!

No, we can't deport each one, but we can start. The rest, hopefully, will either get the message...or starve. They feel as though they have a right to be here because of decisions their parents made illegally. Sorry about that. Things happen. I often think of America's foster children when I think of Dreamers, they are in circumstances due to decisions their parents made, through no fault of their own. Illegal aliens, particularly hispanic/mexicans, have always DEMANDED that we do things to accommodate them, while NEVER showing appreciation for what they have received, nor acknowledging the burden that they have placed on our system. Just gimme, racist!

I just see this as a passing phase in American history. These "children" can go back to their native country and change it for the better. They are now more educated than the average, know what"freedom" is like, and can really contribute to making it a better part of the world.

Bottom line, Dreamers, don't waste your time here, we have just gotten started.

One of the next, most important things that we are going to do is to remind our congress that you are merely a noisy minority, and that we are the majority. Adios'

Here's the only "hearing" they need. Broadcast a single sentence:

All illegal aliens have 30 days to vacate the United States, any caught still squatting in America will be jailed for 5 years then deported!

I was appalled at the MSM coverage. The pundits treat this like it's a shell game; that the first "side" to "accomplish" the feat of immigration reform will be the winner.

No mention of right or wrong, no mention of the rule of law - just the callous discussion of political strategy and who will manage to consolidate the "vote" of people who don't even belong here.

Clearly, we need to beat down our government again in 2012. They still think the tail wags the dog.

California is already a failed Democratic Dictatorship. It won't matter how the "latinos" vote in our State. They always settle for any thing with a d beside it's name on a Ballot.

Look at all the stats. Every tommorrow will always be worse than yesterday In what remains of our State. We vote to be "less than" other Americans every chance we get.

No wonder that California is broke

Critics say the school is a luxury that the Los Angeles Unified School District cannot afford. The district has a $640 million budget shortfall, and over the past two years, 3,000 teachers have been laid off. The district has even proposed shortening the school year by six days to save money.

What Immigration Reform? How can an Illegal Aliens demand a Sovereign Nation (USA) to change their laws, for the Illegal Aliens benefit. The Laws are already on the books. The only reform that is needed is Implementation.
