Emboldened by months of phone calls to lawmakers, hunger strikes and sit-ins, a group of college students and graduates in Los Angeles say they plan to take their fight for immigrant rights to the states and the 2012 election after Senate Republicans blocked a key piece of legislation.

Hmmm...they are going to fight for "immigrant" rights. Legal IMMIGRANTS already have rights as a result of comming here LEGALLY!!!!!!. One of the reason this bill and amnesty has to be stopped is because of comments like this one from a "former ILLEGAL" Quote...Bendezu, who had been an illegal immigrant when she started college, attained legal residency through a relative's petition. Now, she said she can't wait to become a citizen to be able to vote. Sorry Ms. Bendezu people like you who ignored our laws should never be given the opportunity to vote. That should be a priveledge granted only to those IMMIGRANTS who come here "LEGALLY". Imagine....breaking the laws of this nation and then one day being allowed to vote and have a say in how our nation is run....all for breaking our laws. Well Ms Bendezu the AMERICAN voter is watching also....you might want to watch out for us. We are the people who vote for what is best for AMERICA and not for what is best for criminal scum like yourself. You can target those who voted against the dream act....WE WILL TARGET THOSE THAT VOTED FOR IT!!!!

Got news for them.
The next agenda is to end birthright citizenship and cut social programs for illegals.

Don't these kids read the news. The Democrates will lose more seats in 2012. The budget deficit will be worse. The American people are feed up with Illegal Aliens in this country. Deportations will speed up. As it is cheaper to deport than support. The Dream Act was only a Dream.

Man, they just don't get it! It's as if these "students" think they have some divine right to stay here, despite laws to the contrary. This is what happens when we coddle people and let them build castles in the sky.

We should be telling these people the truth - that they're here illegally and will need to leave. Instead, these election and campaign strategists view them as political fodder, all the while ignoring right and wrong. This is about the law and whether or not we choose to enforce it or ignore it. It's pretty clear that for the next 2 years, the law is going to be enforced, if not tightened.

They will push for access to financial aid and drivers' licenses in states more friendly to immigrants like California.

Most states are enacting laws to make living there harder for illegals.

The new Hispanic gov of New Mexico is going to end giving illegals drivers licenses.

Yep. Here in NM, we're doing things that will drive illegals away from our state. In a way, it's poetic justice. The states where the voters trend "progressive" will be inviting and eventually inundated with illegals, while states like NM and AZ will be alot less attractive. These sanctuary states will then see firsthand what a flood of illegals and welfarians does to a once-thriving economy.
