What the heck does "Winterlit" mean? Is that one of those fake terms that are supposed to encompass everyone so nobody gets offended?
Oh wait, there's "group dreidel spinning" and "a traditional Menorah lighting ceremony".
Yet, it's only the "annual tree lighting ceremony".
You'd think it was safe to mention Christmas! What BS... I'm offended!

Tree Lighting and Concert at Third Street Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica
Downtown Santa Monica was transformed on Sunday, December 5th and Monday, December 6th into a holiday winter wonderland as the community celebrated its annual tree lighting ceremony and enjoyed a free concert featuring performances by Tyler Hilton, Jared Lee, and Jessarae, as well as a day filled with other activities.
