This is a rip off proposal because the bus service has declined to one third of of what it was 18 months ago, and they have raised bus fare in a supposed effort to keep service at a certain level(*It Must Be noted, they cut service before the fare increase). They have housing and reatil buildings above five Metro station, and they bring in mega money to support a better bus service than now available. now they are advertising building at the NoHO Station to enhance the five rental structures they are just completeing. This is the most egregious form of ripping off the public under the pretense of giving the public something.
Where is the money going from the rents they collect, and why sholud the bus service be cut to put millions of dollars into the pockets of LAMTA employees, and cronies?
