I wouldn't mind if Obama never came back here. I also wouldn't mind if our Mayor left with Obama and never came back. And I wouldn't mind if all who voted for Obama, and still dwell in darkness, followed him and never came back.
Then what would you do without smart people?

The $5MM is questionable, but are you putting the concept of WORK ahead of Democracy? Any candidate, republican or Democrat campaigns to raise awareness for their cause.

Don't you want to stand behind the concept of Democracy? If it were Sarah Palin, or a legitimate Republican, causing the stir, would you be as upset?

In this day and age of tele-commuting and tele-conferencing WHY does the Commissar feel he has to fly to fund-raisers? We're concerned about re-greening the planet and he's got his carbon footprint all over the grid.

Liberal Hypocrite (double-negative). Obviously a 'do as I say, not as I do) type of leader. A leader people with common sense would never deem to follow.

Those without common sense and who DO follow? The Hollywood elite (who spent last night in worship of the Imam) and his fellow Socialists. All for a measly million bucks.

Money talks. You got enough, buy yourself some carbon credits and pollute to your heart's content. Need more? Go to Kalifornia and have another fund raiser. Create gridlock and animosity. Smile, throw up your middle finger at the people you claim to be so concerned about and jet away. Do it again every 5 or 6 months.

I don't know what the hope and change was supposed to be that the ignorant masses voted for. But this isn't the hope and change they expected that's for sure. Talk about misleading the people!

Regarding Bush running the U.S. into financial ruin over a senseless war with unsupported spending? Obama spent more in 19 months than Bush spent in 8 years. The Bush stimulus package was a one-time only thing; if the first infusion wasn't enough to fix the problem, then your company wasn't worth saving. Obama nullified that by injecting more.

By not pulling the U.S. out of the Middle East as promised, he keeps the war spending as high - or higher - than Bush. Is he going to pull a Nixon? End the war (or retreat) only AFTER he gets elected to a 2nd term? Does he think we're that naive to fall for that kind of political posturing again.

Perhaps we are. After all - the people we look up to in Hollywood spent upwards of $30,000 to have dinner with the Premier last night. Be funny if they came down with Salmonella, wouldn't it? All those illegal workers preparing and serving the food.

It would serve them right.

You are right about Bush. But history will show (and as you can see we don't even have to wait that long) that Obama will have been far worse than Bushwacker ever was.

It is unimaginable how many people I know who voted for Obama now regret having done so. At least they've stopped the denial and can see the error. "Hope and change" has stretched into "I hope I have more than change left in my bank".

Obama left LA in a mess. He caused traffic jams, aircraft delays and just generally contributed to the polloution while talking about green jobs and extracting campaign money.

What a jerk, I wish he had to pay for the NON-REFUNDABLE tickets one of my coworkes lost when his entire family missed their fleight to Florida. Now their going to have to vacation at home because they can't afford to buy another set of tickets at FULL PRICE.

I got his text message and boy was he pissed, he bought them on line and couldn't get his money back even though they KNEW he missed the fleight because of Obama.

He works near LAX so and travels on business all the time, so he knows how long it should take, but Obama cost him almost an hour.

For what he lost he could have attended the fundraiser.

Obama's such a jerk, why didn't they just hold it at a building that he could have taken a helicopter to instead of bringing millions of LA drivers to a total stand still for so long.

Good riddence to the longest campaigning good for nothing in the white house.Maybe it's a good thing he doesn't work, he would only make things worse if that's possible. To all you hollywood bigwigs, you can kiss my ass.I hope every one of your movies fail and all your phoney ''stars'' wind up on skid row.Obama , the only thing you and the rest of your good for nothing democrats have succeeded in doing is putting america so deep in debt, we may never see daylight again.Shame on all of you. This goes for all you zombies that voted for them also.Go back to Kenya where you belong.

A lousy $1 million -- we spent that much in gasoline sitting around in traffic! What a waste of time.

Why? He's just proving to everybody that he's in charge and this is how he does it.

He's an arrogant prig. The mess he and his 'handlers' made of Los Angeles proved it. Not even LaRaza's blockade could do this much damage to the infrastructure of a city's transportation network.

Yeah. Hope and Change. The Democrat's mantra. As demonstrated by their tribal chief.

Not even Bush trampled on the populace this severely in his 8 years - and he trampled plenty. Der Kommissar's only been at it 19 months and he's done worse than Bush already in nearly all aspects. Another 2 1/2 years of this? God forbid the fools in Hollywood set us up for 4 more.

I'm starting to get nostalgic regarding Tricky Dick's 7 years right now, and we were in trouble then (energy crisis,'Nam, Watergate).

Speaking of unions...

"UAW Local 23's meeting to review a proposal for another company to buy the downtown plant didn't go as long as first thought. UAW International Representatives had hoped to tell the membership about the offer that included pay cuts in order to keep the plant open."

this is why obama and members of both houses are not really too concerned about the recession.
