The Mexican Government sent a Great Exhibit at Hubbard last week with the legendary Mexican Vaquero and China Poblana. Teddy R. thought that the Vaquero was better than the American Cowboy. You can see his Statement at the Stock Yards in Fort Worth. It will be here through September. R.D. Hubbard and spouse did not have the good manners to show the couple, Chabellon and Gonzalez, the area. They came and left after the Photo. The Gov. was in town, but elected to ignore them. These People are members of the Old Mexico that should be given some respect. Leo Martinez's wife gave them a tour for two days.

Talk, about diplomacy "Gringo Style."

The Mexican government did no such thing!!! The Exhibit is awesome! It belongs to an individual family that leases the exhibit all around the country, we are fortunate enough to see it before it has to leave the USA for a while. They have beautiful leather and silver works and the women's dresses are beautiful! The Exhibit is well worth seeing!!! I don't know who Teddy R. is but to say the Mexican Vaquero is Better than the American Cowboy is UnAmerican! There is nothing to compare.......two different cultures and histories! INTERESTING!

I believe he meant Teddy Roosevelt. If you want an accurate account of how he set up the relations in the Pacific that lead to WWII, read THE IMPERIAL CRUISE by James Bradley. Very eye opening. Also covers the US slaughter of Phillipine citizens when the US took that nation over. History we never hear about. Teddy wasn't really a Rough Rider, but loved to play tennis.
