This time, pass California ban on plastic bags: Editorial
#1 Apr 18, 2013
The writer argues ruling class California politicians should be "brave" enough to deny consumers the simple convenience of being provided bags to tote their overpriced groceries home. Let us hope the writer is right. One must be brave to act in the face of danger.
The "danger", of course, is the "fear" that long-suffering overtaxed Californians will finally have had enough once this NAZI like measure is enacted and boot the ideologically driven "anti-consumer" politicians out of office once voters throughout the State are required to stand the cost of providing their own heavily taxed disease spreading reusable grocery bags.
The revolutionary ruling class now in control of the State's political machinery never does its damage and then quits. Quite the contrary. The success of inflicting each new tyranny only whets their appetite for more. Yesterday it was abusing decent tobacco users for purposes of establishing precedence for increased Big Government taxation and control. Today it is the hated Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax. What will these abusive self-serving tyrants go on to next?
Let's hope they "bravely" impose the Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax on the State's entire overtaxed population. Let us hope doing so will finally be the long-awaited catalyst for throwing the "brave" rascals out.

Ronald... step away from the computer. A big part of being neurotic is repeating the past without knowing it. That's why I'm reminding you that you decided to cool it on the smoking and grocery bags thing, and know you're returning to it like a dog to it's vomit.
You were doing well. Spit out that vomit, leave it on the floor, and walk away, Ronald. Just walk away.

Yes. The Biblical passage you reference tells of the fool returning to its vomit. Without such fools, it would be inconceivable that the Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax gang would be able to get away with their chicanery. May I advise you to step away from Government licensed "news" media long enough to begin exercising your brain? Doing so might allow you to be able to form independent thought. That would reduce your need to be supplied with even more taxpayer supplied Government drugs. Such a "healthy" "time-out" might be a "natural" Government drug-free way of getting your synapses in shape. Aren't we innocent little children worth that much effort on our behalf?

Hey, look everyone! An old drug addict is giving other people advice about drug abuse! Keep smokin' those cigs, Ronald. When people see you smoking, they'll avoid you before they can smell your dead breath, you'll never have to paint your walls, as long as you like 'em green, and it gets your heart disease and alzheimer's progression running like a fine swiss watch.

Yes. I agree. In a more heroic - more enlightened times, our forefathers were out conquering worlds. Were they to come back today, they would be dismayed to learn their effete post 60s 70s era progeny flee in terror from Government tax and control related secondhand tobacco smoke myths. But I guess that is "progress".
