A Palmyra man is being held in a northern Virginia jail, after police say he had two sexual encounters with a 14-year-old. Brian Kutney, 36, is being held without bond.

Either we are surrounded by these pervs or the news is actually reporting on them more often than usual. Either way this sort of activity and mentality is becoming overwhelming. There's a new story almost every other day! What can we do as a community? As a parent I've talked to my teens and I pray it sticks. What can we do to help these sick adults though??

Just wondering....where are the parents to this 14 year old child?? She's not old enough to drive...How did she get to these parking lots in Dumfries AND Woodbridge without an adult knowing where she was and what she was doing?? and WHY would she meet him a 2nd time after the events of the first encounter with him??? Seems she should have reported him the first time, or at least stayed away from him instead of meeting him the 2nd time. Am I missing something here???

Have you forgotten what it was like to be 14? Teenagers do all kinds of stuff without their parents ever knowing.

I dont think we should give scum bags that hurt children a chance fry them. fry them all. why put them away, paying for their meals, ect, then let them out so they can do it again ....just fry the bastards if they hurt a child, why do we as a society tolerate this kind of behavior??? Children are innocent, this man and those like him ruin lives by their acts...I could go on and on but the point is the same KILL his ass, and all the rest of the child molestors sitting behind bars, save the future of other children, and some tax dollars.* granted I understand there are the occasional cases where 17 and 1/2 year old girl hooks up with boyfriend whos 18+ that she consents but parents press charges anyway ..thats not what Im talking; about Im talking about children and grown men/women like in this case. ..Help Them !??? No.. They are not worthy of help. I dont care what their illness is. The children hurt by these monsters need the help. The monsters themselves need the death penalty they cant be fixed..yeah maybe medicated, which mostlikely tax dollars will pay for, and lets hope they dont miss a dose, could be your kid/ grandkid next time. NO our tax dollars should go toward helping the VICTIMS of these monsters try to cope with what they have been through, the person who needs help in this situation is the 14 yr old girl why she allowed this man 2 times to assault her, she needs therapy.

I agree with you 100%. The point I was trying to get across but worded improperly was that the cycle needs to be stopped somewhere somehow.

Nothing can be done to help them. So we should do what the animal kingdom would do with them. Banish them!!!!!!!!!! It would be cheaper to buy an Island somewhere and drop them off and let nature take its course rather than try to cure them with a bunch of liberal feel good programs.

This is just SICK! He is one sick person. He knew full well her age and he still did it, TWICE and was hoping for a third. He is married and has two children. And one of his children is a girl that is in 8th grade so she could be 13 or 14. This is disgusting that he did this to another man's daughter. Parents have to stick together and raise our kids as a community and look out for the kids. How can the kids be safe when it is someone in our own community? I hope he rots in jail! Life behind bars is too good for him.

There was a time when these mutants simply quietly disappeared without media posturing and hand wringing by social apologists.

Ok come on now really. I totally agree that what he did is wrong ,because I have a 14 year old daughter myself , but do not bring his children into this , they are hurt and embarassed enough. This is not somthing she would like shared , and she wouldn't want people knowing it was her dad ! 8th grade is hard enough , putting stuff out there like that would make it worse. Did anyone stop to think that maybe this girl said she was older then 14 ? Kids today look a lot older then they really are. He's wrong ,yes , especailly going back and second and third time , but keep in mind his innocent family might be reading these nasty comments. My children are friends with his children and they are really hurting right now. They don't need to see comments about frying their dad.
