Border Patrol Agent:‘If the Administration Says This Isn’t Amnesty, Don’t Believe Them’
June 27, 2014
Albert Spratte, the sergeant-at-arms of the National Border Patrol Council, Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, said the Obama administration is largely to blame for waves of illegal immigrants that have been flooding the Southwest U.S. border since February, saying the government opened the door for the crisis by making it “clear they’re not going to deport people.”
Spratte, who was speaking with CNSNews.com as a representative of the union, further said “we don’t have control of the border,” and if the Obama administration claims it is not in effect giving amnesty to the illegals, then “don’t believe them.”
Also, by allowing so many young illegal aliens to be released into this country,“the U.S. government has become a part of the smuggling business,” he said.
“If you put your ear to this,”

Supreme Court strikes down Obama recess appointments
In a rebuke to President Barack Obama, the Supreme Court struck down three of his recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board as unconstitutional.
The decision gives the Senate broad power to thwart future recess appointments, but did not go as far as some conservatives hoped to undercut the president’s ability to fill vacant executive branch posts and judicial slots.
The court ruled 9-0 that Obama’s appointments were unconstitutional because the Senate was not truly in recess when he made them during a three-day break in pro forma meetings of the Senate.

High court strikes Massachusetts abortion 'buffer zone'
The Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously struck down a Massachusetts law that restricted speech outside abortion facilities, a decision that abortion-rights advocates decried as a threat to patient safety at clinics nationwide.
The court said the state law violated the First Amendment because its “buffer zone” limited speech too broadly, covering 35 feet from the doorway of facilities and including public areas like sidewalks.
The Obama administration, which argued in court in defense of the Massachusetts statute, said it would support any attempt to create an alternative zone there.

An Embarrassing Hole in Boehner’s Plan to Sue ‘King’ Obama !!!
“Executive monarchy,”“imperial precedents” and “aggressive unilateralism”—these are just a few of the terms being bandied about since House Speaker John Boehner announced two days ago a grand plan to sue President Barack Obama over his “king-like authority at the expense of the American people and their elected legislators.”
There’s just one problem. Obama has issued fewer executive orders than any other president since Franklin Roosevelt, according to Gerhard Peters, co-founder of the American Presidency Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Peters and his co-founder, John Woolley, are among the nation’s leading authorities on the use of presidential executive power, going back to George Washington.“In the modern era that most presidential scholars believe began with Franklin Roosevelt in 1933, Obama has issued the least number of executive orders per year,”

John Boehner's Lawsuit Against President Obama is Racist. Why Won't the Media State That Plain Fact?
Speaker of the House John Boehner's lawsuit against President Barack Obama is driven by racial animus and white supremacy. Boehner's efforts to comply with the racist Tea Party and other herrenvolk elements in the Republican Party--to the degree they can be separated--will be used as cover for his unfounded claim that Obama is acting in an "illegal" fashion.
Political ideology cannot be separated from attitudes about race and racism; partisan politics is racial politics. Here, a black man cannot continue with the long standing tradition that is the Imperial Presidency. The claim that Obama has used executive authority in some extraordinary and extreme manner is a lie.
John Boehner is a racist because he is a leading member of a white racist organization called the Republican Party. Boehner is also a racist because he is making a "tactical choice" to defer to one of the most white supremacist and white identified elements of the Republican Party, one that operates under the nom de guerre of the "Tea Party".
The repeated and necessary discussions about how conservatism and white supremacy are unified in the form of the Tea Party GOP are tedious and tiresome. Moreover, it is a sad thing when a fictional TV character such as Tony Soprano is far more honest about the reality of the color line than are the United States' media and political elites

Unanimously ruled that Obama's recess appointments were unconstitutional?!? Really?
#58005 Jun 30, 2014
Yes, last week the Supreme Court "Unanimously ruled that Obama's recess appointments were unconstitutional."
What part is too difficult for you to understand?
#58006 Jun 30, 2014
So far, Obama has made recess appointments 32 times, according to a Feb. 2013 analysis by the Congressional Research Service. Among the last four presidents, Ronald Reagan made the most recess appointments (232), followed by George W. Bush (171), Bill Clinton (139) and George H.W. Bush (78), who served only one term. These include not only ones made between sessions of Congress, but ones during recesses within a session.
How many recess appointments have other Presidents made compared to President Obama again? And why did the engines of social justice neglected to rescind these past “infractions”? It is unimportant, for, you see, they weren’t Barack Obama….

The power to make recess appointments is granted to the president by Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution: "The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session."
While the intent of the Founding Fathers in Article II, Section 3 was to grant the president the power to fill vacancies that actually occurred during a Senate recess, presidents have traditionally applied a much more liberal interpretation, using the clause as a means of bypassing Senate opposition to controversial nominees.
President George W. Bush has placed several judges on U.S. courts of appeals via recess appointments when Senate Democrats filibustered their confirmation proceedings. In one controversial case, Judge Charles Pickering, appointed to the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, chose to withdraw his name from consideration for re-nomination when his recess appointment expired. President Bush also appointed Judge William H. Pryor, Jr. to the bench of the Eleventh Circuit Court during a recess, after the Senate repeatedly failed to vote on Pryor's nomination.
Any questions ?

You seem too partisan or too stupid to understand the Supreme Court's ruling.
The case didn't concern WHETHER recess appointments are legal. It concerned WHEN recess appointments are legal.
Dumbing it down for you: Obama made appointments during a time when Congress was NOT in recess. The Supreme Court ruled that Obama's actions were unconstitutionally illegal because they were NOT recess appointments. Congress, not Obama, decides when Congress is in recess.
Got it? Or do you prefer denying the Supreme Court's decision while appearing even more stupid than you've proven yourself to be?

I think you're misinformed..........better brush up the Constitution there son.

Lerner sought IRS audit of sitting GOP senator, emails show
June 26, 2014
Congressional investigators have uncovered emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner targeted a sitting Republican senator for a proposed internal audit, a discovery one GOP lawmaker called "shocking."
The emails were published late Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee and pertain to the woman at the heart of the scandal over IRS targeting of Tea Party groups.
The emails appear to show Lerner mistakenly received an invitation intended for Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, in 2012.
The event organizer, whose name is not disclosed, apparently offered to pay for Grassley's wife to attend the event, which caught Lerner's attention. The December 2012 emails show that in response, Lerner suggested to an IRS colleague that the case be referred for an audit.
"Looked like they were inappropriately offering to pay for his wife. Perhaps we should refer to Exam?" she wrote.
Her colleague, though, pushed back on the idea, saying an offer to pay for his wife is "not prohibited on its face." There is no indication from the emails that Lerner pursued the issue any further.
Republicans pointed to the exchange as yet another example of Lerner using her position in the Exempt Organizations unit to apply scrutiny to conservatives.
"We have seen a lot of unbelievable things in this investigation, but the fact that Lois Lerner attempted to initiate an apparently baseless IRS examination against a sitting Republican United States Senator is shocking," Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., said in a statement.
"At every turn, Lerner was using the IRS as a tool for political purposes in defiance of taxpayer rights."

Gov. Tom Corbett has low job approval, continues to lag behind Tom Wolf in governor's race
The campaign to re-elect Gov. Tom Corbett has another ugly picture to hang on the wall, after a poll released Wednesday painted the latest dismal portrait of voter sentiment for the incumbent Republican.
This Franklin & Marshall College survey of registered voters is the most recent in a series of post-primary polls, showing the governor with low job approval and lagging behind his Democratic challenger, York County businessman Tom Wolf.
Only 26 percent of voters polled said Corbett deserves a second term. And if the general election had been held the day pollsters interviewed the 502 respondents, Corbett would've lost the election with 25 percent of the vote to Wolf's 47 percent. The group of undecided voters — 27 percent — exceeded Corbett's take of the crowd.

This put in simple terms. Corbett levied a massive tax hike on the middle class only - with his transportation bill. A majority of Pennsylvania's 500 school districts have had to increase property taxes to compensate for lost state revenues. So much for Corbet's pledge. Semantics fooled no one.
The federal Medicaid money is already available. All we have to do is apply.$600 million next year. After three years, the feds still assume 90% of the tab.
PA severance tax on gas would be the same as every other state. Gas companies will not leave, as there is nowhere to go without that tax. And the Marcellus shale is here.
Closing loopholes on sales tax just means charging sales tax on everything but food and clothes - another $300 million/year.
Corporate tax breaks/welfare has not worked for job creation in Pennsylvania anyway, as the state has dropped from 7th to 49th in job creation under Corbett's watch.
State budget records show that Fast Eddie left us with a billion dollar surplus in 2010. Three years of Draconian education cuts and 45,000 state jobs lost - we face at least a $1.5 billion dollar deficit.
Time for Governor Wolf.

Obama paying the price for insisting he’s right
July 3, 2014
So it is with Barack Obama. The nation is turning against him, yet he shouts to the heavens that he is right and the country is wrong.
Mothers can get away with that sort of thing. Presidents and their parties get shellacked.
The Quinnipiac poll showing that Obama is now considered the worst president since World War II offers him no silver lining. There were 12 choices and the voting wasn’t close — he got the highest “worst” vote, 33 percent, with George W. Bush the next worst, at 28 percent.
Jimmy Carter, routinely mocked as a disaster, drew only 8 percent. Even Richard Nixon did better, seen as the bottom of the barrel by only 13 percent of those surveyed. And we know how Nixon’s tenure ended.
Too bad America didn’t come to its senses sooner.
Indeed, the Q poll shows a huge amount of buyers’ remorse, with 45 percent saying Mitt Romney would have been a better president, while only 38 percent think Obama was the right choice in 2012. Mulligan, anyone?

Good gawd, azzhat! Tricky Dick Nixon holds that "honor," with Dubya Dummazz Bush a very, very, very close second.
