Investigator: No sign progressives mistreated
The Treasury Department watchdog who detailed Internal Revenue Service mistreatment of tea party groups seeking tax-exempt status says he has no evidence the IRS also mishandled progressive groups' applications.
In a letter obtained Thursday by The Associated Press, the inspector general for tax administration, J. Russell George, acknowledged that the term "Progressives" appeared on a list of terms used by IRS screeners from 2010 to 2012 to look for applicants with potential problems that would merit close scrutiny.
But George said there was no evidence the IRS set aside progressive groups' applications because they appeared on that list.

Yeah, you already posted this.

Posting it again won't change that IG George committed perjury and should resign or be dismissed.

Still no evidence linking any of this to the President, huh?

I didn't think so.

Fox News poll: 66 percent worried about their health care under ObamaCare
A record number of voters want the 2010 Affordable Care Act repealed entirely, while sizable majorities say they are worried about their health care under the new law and expect their medical costs will go up, according to a new Fox News poll.
The poll, released Wednesday, finds that 58 percent of voters favor repealing all (39 percent) or some (19 percent) of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement.
Another 19 percent would leave the law as is, while 17 percent would expand its coverage further.
The 39 percent who want to repeal the health care law entirely is a record high, up from 30 percent who felt that way in March 2013.

Imagine that - a coordinated propaganda campaign lying about the Affordable Care Act has impacted public opinion.

You know what they say - negative ads work.

At this point - before most ACA provisions take effect - public opinion is based more on misinformation than on the facts and therefore is meaningless.

----------

Critics of Health Care Law Outspending Its Supporters on Ads

Seven months before the core provisions of President Obama’s health care law are to take effect, most television advertising that mentions the law continues to come from its opponents.

Since the law’s passage in March 2010, critics have spent a total of about $400 million on television ads that refer to it, according to a new analysis by the Campaign Media Analysis Group at Kantar Media, which tracks such spending. Supporters have spent less than a quarter of that — about $75 million — on ads that cast the law in a positive light, according to the analysis.

President Barack Obama's signature health care reform law remains unpopular with the American public just months before it fully goes into effect, according to the new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. The poll shows 49 percent of Americans say they believe the Affordable Care Act is a bad idea. That’s the highest number recorded on this question since the poll began measuring it in 2009. Just 37 percent say the plan is a good idea.

Small businesses are exempt from the Affordable Care Act. If small business owners are laying people off, the ACA is not the reason. If they claim the ACA is the reason, they are either lying or (like most Americans) are massively misinformed about ACA requirements.

Remember the Obama Scandals? That Used to Be a Thing

Do you remember how all-consuming the “Obama scandals” once were? This was a turn of events so dramatic it defined Obama’s entire second term — he was “waylaid by controversies,” or at least “seriously off track,”“beset by scandals,” enduring a “second-term curse,” the prospect of “endless scandals,” Republicans “beginning to write his legislative obituary,” and Washington had “turned on Obama.” A ritualistic media grilling of Jay Carney, featuring the ritualistic comparisons of him to Nixon press secretary Ron Ziegler, sanctified the impression of guilt.

It has come and gone, having left barely a trace. To be sure, the Obama scandals live on in the conservative world, where the evidence of deep corruption and venality grows stronger and stronger. But that is merely the confirmation of suspicions of “Chicago politics,” ACORN and so on, that predate recent events and don’t require any particular facts to survive.

Eleven East Penn School District food service employees will have their hours cut to 29.75 hours a week – just 15 minutes shy of the 30-hours-a-week that triggers the mandate that employers provide health benefits under Obamacare.
A representative of the Foodcrafters union said the reduction in hours was to avoid the health care requirement.
"We didn't like it but everybody's doing it," said Karen Haldeman, secretary of the East Penn School District Foodcrafters Association. "All the school districts are doing it, private companies are doing it. We knew we had to just accept it and go on."

Poll: Obamacare Hasn’t Been This Unpopular Since Before Romney
The June Kaiser Health Tracking Poll indicates that Obamacare is now less popular than it has been at any time since October 2011 — about three months before Mitt Romney won his first Republican primary.(Romney, of course, chose not to emphasize Obamacare during the presidential campaign.) Kaiser’s polling now says that — by an 8-point margin — Americans hold an unfavorable (43 percent), rather than favorable (35 percent), view of Obamacare. That’s the worst result for Obamacare in the past 17 surveys that Kaiser has conducted.
...According to Kaiser’s latest polling, Americans think Obamacare will be bad for themselves and bad for their country — and, in both respects, they say they’re more convinced than ever that that’s true.
