NO DEMOCRATS VOTED AGAINST IT Obama stamps foot, demands no-limit credit card Obama’s government is borrowing so much money for agency programs and for continuing entitlement spending that it will hit its current debt limit of $16.394 trillion early next year. That debt limit has been increased six times since his inauguration in 2009, largely because Obama has borrowed roughly $5 trillion to fund existing and new programs. Obama plans further deficit spending of roughly $1 trillion per year, and wants to borrow yet more money from international markets, but he can’t do so without permission from Congress. who cares ? this treaty did nothing. a COMPLETE waste of time. if another country demands the USA standards then they still can. what a show !!! a whole lot of nothing. im glad they voted against it. why do we need to sign a UN treaty to encourage USA standards are the best for the world ? dont change a thing. just a show....... Dan the Man wrote: <quoted text> Wow, you have no understanding of the treaty AT ALL. LOL! Why am I not surprised. The UN treaty on disabilities was an international agreement encouraging all participating nations to live up to the standard the United States has set with the Americans with Disabilities Act. It wouldn't have impacted the US in any way since we already have the gold standard of disability legislation. Our signing on would just have given the treaty additional credibility as we are the world leader in this area. The ignorant, fearful GOP has just succeeded in making the US look stupid and backward. ANOTHER international embarrassment at the hands of the ignorant, backwardassed conspiracy theorists.

CRPD gives too much power to the U.N., and the unelected, unaccountable committee tasked with overseeing its implementation, while taking power and responsibility away from our elected representatives and, more important, from parents and caregivers of disabled persons. What will help is for the Obama administration and Congress to step up to the plate. We need to do a better job in exporting human rights and human dignity—particularly for the disabled—overseas. I believe that this administration has not done a good enough job of standing up to thuggish regimes on the issue of human rights and this would be a great place to start. This administration should leverage the billions we spend in foreign aid dollars to push recipients to ensure greater human dignity for the disabled. ////////// you should probably spend a little more time studying US and world history so you can understand what's actually happening in current events.

Obama, Democrats on top again in latest poll on ‘fiscal cliff’ crisis Another national poll is out Thursday that shows Democrats winning the battle of perception on the "fiscal cliff" crisis. Fifty-three percent of registered voters told Quinnipiac University's Polling Institute that they believe the president and his party will make a "good-faith effort to cooperate with the Republicans" to avoid the fiscal cliff—the series of automatic spending cuts and tax increases set to go into effect Jan. 1. Thirty-eight percent of respondents disagreed with that statement. Respondents by a wider margin—53 to 36 percent—said they trusted the president and Democrats more than Republicans to avoid the fiscal cliff. The poll's margin of error was plus or minus 2.2 percentage points. Quinnipiac's findings follow a survey released this week by The Washington Post and the Pew Research Center that found Americans were more likely to blame Republicans than Democrats if Congress failed to reach a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff. Why cant the GOP do what's right for America? Why cant they agree with the majority of the people? Their candidate lost and America has chosen it's leader, why cant they? Why do they hate America?

The US participates in the United Nations because it increases our influence in the world. But if there's nothing in it for us, screw it, right boxtard? That's the ignorant, backwardassed attitude that's making your party a permanent minority party in this country.

I've been begging for years for thoughtful, intelligent, rational conservatives to advance a legitimate conservative agenda here, but none ever show up. ////////// Samantha Power of the Atlantic said it best as the author of the Pulitzer-Prize winning A Problem of Hell who referred to Ambassador Susan Rice and her colleagues in the Clinton Administration as Bystanders to Genocide said it best when she quoted Rice in her 2002 book “If we use the word ‘genocide’ and are seen as doing nothing, what will be the effect on the November congressional election?” . . Meaning – Rice’s saw genocide as being less important than partisan politics interests. This is not partisan on Power’s behalf, seeing that presently Power currently is a Special Assistant to President Barack Obama. ////////// Meaning – Rice’s saw Benghazi as being less important than partisan politics interests. ////////// Thy Incompetence of Susan Rice.

Dan the Man Reading, PA sez So now they are so pathetic, they can even vote to help the disabled people in other countries. ////////// There are 191 countries in the world. The United States gives money to 158 of them. We give money to Venezuela, Egypt, Libya and our Benedict Arnold Ally, Pakistan, just to name a few. We even give money to our good buddies the Chinese even though they hold over $1 trillion of our federal debt. Isn't that lovely? Our national debt is over $16 trillion; we need to stop sending money that we don't have all over the world. " While the effectiveness of foreign aid remains up for debate, the United States recently has continued to pump around $50 billion in aid to other countries each year. In terms of the absolute value of aid given, the United States is the world's top donor by far. So where is all that money going? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/30/us-f ... .......... ......... ........ You are one skull fu-ked the Brain-dead obummer drone . . Brain-dead A increadibly idiotic individual who hasn't a sustance for anything that is going on.
