Samantha Power of the Atlantic said it best as the author of the Pulitzer-Prize winning

A Problem of Hell

who referred to

Ambassador Susan Rice and her colleagues in the Clinton Administration as Bystanders to Genocide said it best when she quoted Rice in her 2002 book

“If we use the word ‘genocide’

and are seen as doing nothing, what will be the effect on the November congressional election?”

.
.

Meaning – Rice’s saw genocide as being less important than partisan politics interests.

This is not partisan on Power’s behalf, seeing that presently Power currently is a Special Assistant to President Barack Obama.

See, this is how English works - when you make two declarative statements joined by the word 'and,' both declarative statements can stand on their own.

In this case, your first statement was "I'm a racist" (which happens to be true).

Your second statement was, "You're a homo" (which is not only false, it's also so hopelessly middle school that it makes you look even more juvenile than I thought you were).

Just because you chose to join those two statements with the word 'and' doesn't change the fact that they are still two separate statements.

And I chose to address only one of your two statements. Everyone here is free to address parts of anyone else's post. That's not dishonest or misleading - it's just how the world works.

You really need to grow up, Roger the Racist. Get a grip and stop acting like such a baby.

And what is it with all you wingnuts who think calling someone a homosexual is an insult. It's the 21st century - it's time to grow the hell up.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised - racial bigotry and homophobia usually go together. They're both signs of the kind of stunted character development and emotional retardation you've repeatedly demonstrated here. LOL!

Why do we need the united nations to over see our laws? This is a slippery slope that gives away our sovereighnty! You need to brush up on your history...we are the greatest nation on the planet that has done more to free the oppressed, feed the hungry, always there in times of need for others and we give more money to other countries than anyone. Wow, you have no understanding of the treaty AT ALL. LOL! Why am I not surprised.

The UN treaty on disabilities was an international agreement encouraging all participating nations to live up to the standard the United States has set with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

It wouldn't have impacted the US in any way since we already have the gold standard of disability legislation. Our signing on would just have given the treaty additional credibility as we are the world leader in this area.

The ignorant, fearful GOP has just succeeded in making the US look stupid and backward. ANOTHER international embarrassment at the hands of the ignorant, backwardassed conspiracy theorists.

You need to brush up on your sanity.

It is a treaty with other nations. It has nothing to do with our sovereignty. It has to do with a group of nations getting together to work on a common cause. Each country pledging to do its part within its own country.

My God, you right whiners get dumber every fricking day.

The disabled have been cursed by God.

Those disabled by disease or misfortune are being punished for sins in life.

Those born disabled are being punished for their behavior in the pre-existence.

We should NOT coddle them.

We MUST not cater to them or they will NEVER learn the lessons God intended to learn by making them disabled.

We are damning their souls and denying them their opportunity for redemption by trying to make their lives "easier."

The life of the disabled SHOULD be hard, as that is what God intended.

Obama stamps foot, demands no-limit credit card

Obama’s government is borrowing so much money for agency programs and for continuing entitlement spending that it will hit its current debt limit of $16.394 trillion early next year.

That debt limit has been increased six times since his inauguration in 2009, largely because Obama has borrowed roughly $5 trillion to fund existing and new programs.

Obama plans further deficit spending of roughly $1 trillion per year, and wants to borrow yet more money from international markets, but he can’t do so without permission from Congress.
