Income should not be taxed, it is punishment for working.
Private property should not be taxed, it is a rent payment to the government - as long as your private property is subjected to an illegal tax YOU NEVER REALLY OWN IT!
As long as the hard working people of this country are being robbed through taxes, these multinational corporations should be as well.
But wait, they are in on it, they are the problem, along with the Federal Reserve Bank, they own these politicians and they get away with murder - literally!
Tax is the price of living here instead of in the Gaza Strip. How much of your "private property" started out as a land grant from government? Open a history book sometime.

I do agree with not taxing ones home. You can work all your life, build a home "The American Dream" raise a family and you fall on hard times and lose it all when the government comes knocking for the over due taxes. I've seen this happen too many times.
Is it also unfair if you buy a car, can't make the payments--or don't because of your ignorant spending habits--and the car gets repossessed? Look at taxes as a cost of doing business. You live here, you have perks, you pay.

Not saying we don't need any taxes at all, just not income (punishment for working) or private property (rent to the government).
When taxes are being used to pay back an illegal debt to offshore banks, instead of improving the country, yeah, that is a problem.
"The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board administers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money" -- Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923
Taxes are needed revenue. Would you feel better if instead of property taxes we called them "we admire your property" taxes?5604

That would be a sight to see..
Absolutely, that would be a sight for sore eyes, especially for Jenny Craig and the Weight Watchers Club. The only see-saw that might work for them would be the Golden Gate Bridge.

How about no property tax, just sales tax.

You would not understand things like this, the recipient entitlement mindset you have clouds your judgement.

Income tax is punishment for working, and property tax is rent to the government.

How much of it started as American Indian territory? Maybe you need to open a history book.

The bloated government just steals your property and earnings and you grovel like a good little boot licker. You probably live in government subsidized housing and are a recipient class moocher.

America is not free as long as there is a property tax leveled on a persons home. Failure to pay this tax will lead to jail or death by SWAT teams. A slave must pay the master or they have to face the consequences.

Legalize ALL drugs and tax them - then abolish all property taxes.

The money generated from the taxes minus the money saved on the War on the American people aka The War on Drugs and release non-violent drug offenders - there is where you tax money is going.

Stop the illegal foreign wars and concentrate on Defense, no interventionist offensive wars.

You think handing people freebies - which someone else pays for - is advancing America, it is doing the opposite. Liberty and free markets can make America great again, no hand outs.

Say we need 100% in taxes and 10% of it comes from property tax. Would you rather we eliminated the 10% property tax and got that 10% via some other tax, say sales, which you could avoid?

Know what? You can avoid property tax now and we won't have to rewrite the tax code. Avoid owning property if avoiding tax is that important to you and Grover Norquist. It IS a free country you know...unless you expect free service. It's not that type of free.

This is where you right wing nut jobs are wrong and miss the point. I'm liberal yet MAKE ENOUGH INCOME SO I DON'T HAVE TO WHINE ABOUT TAXES, THE HEAVY BURDEN OF BUYING POSTAGE STAMPS BECAUSE THEY'RE GOING UP A PENNY OR ANYTHING ELSE.

If you can't handle your financial situation then you failed somewhere. See? We liberals can play that game too.

So you want 20 year olds strung out on heroin so you can have lower property taxes? You're ridiculous.

As to foreign war adventures, if you eliminate our desire to fight wars abroad all a country has to do is blockade our goods from going to other countries. If you think our economy is bad now it would crash without return if we weren't willing to defend our trade at the point of a gun. Again, France and Britain pulled this crap. Read history.

No, I want drugs legal so the police don't have a 'reason' to kick my door in - oh we 'thought' there might be drugs. Plus add to that the $$ spent on law enforcement and jails.

So no 20 year olds are strung out now?

How does a non-interventionist foreign policy translate into isolationism? I am all for TRADING with foreign countries, not OCCUPYING them.

Everything you say is your opinion...
not based on actual facts..
You're entitled to your opinion even if it is wrong...just look at Tax No More
There's a person with wrong opinions but never the less he believes them..

We have 300 million people in this country and without a strong government bellieve me states would be declaing war on each other.
Bush weakened this structure we know that..

Texas isn't bombing Oklahoma yet but it wouldn't take much...
There would be many border skirmishes too.

That's why we pay for government ..we pay for society. Its called civics

Romney blames Obama's gifts for his loss

BOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!

Mitt Romney finally has it figured out. He knows why he lost. Guess what? It was all President Barack Obama’s fault.

But then again Romney acted like Santa Claus to upper-income earners with his promises to protect them from Obama’s proposed income tax hikes. He also promised Wall Street that he would roll back the Dodd-Frank financial regulations that were legislated to rein in the abuses that led to the 2008 financial crash. Yet Romney referred to none of these offerings as “gifts” on the campaign trail. Now his sour-grapes postmortems have sent even his fellow Republicans Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, among others, fast-walking away from him. Wise move, gentlemen.

“My job is not to worry about those people,” he said. That’s OK. I don’t think they’re too worried about him, either.

Many resources, the more you look into them, the more you will find they are behind the major issues this country faces. You will see most of the Democrats and Republicans will not question them - even though they know this. They are bought and paid for by them, that is why.

Those who question them are the true Patriots, on both sides of the isle - recently -> Ron Paul-R, Dennis Kucinich-D, Mike Lee - R, Alan Grayson-D.

President Kennedy issued Executive Order 11110 - was he a 'conspiracy theorist'?

Louis T. McFadden opposed the Fed in the 30s, exposed them and after 2 failed attempts on his life he died mysteriously - was he a 'conspiracy theorist'?

Look into what Andrew Jackson did to rid this country of a Central Bank and why.- again was he a 'conspiracy theorist'?
