It's unfortunate that the newspaper did not print the candidates' reason for running in its entirety. Based on what was printed, the girls sound interchangeable. If elected, I can see them voting with only one mind and one heart. The boys are reputed to be independent and independence is sorely needed on any school board, especially in Forest Lake. However, Mr. Langness would do well to remember that 4 years ago he was the challenger and needed to be brought up to speed.

Mr. Langness had demonstrated initiative to attend meetings and get involved long before he was on the board. The ladies as you describe it have never been to a board meeting!

You're correct, Mr. Langenss has more than demonstrated his ability to do right by the taxpayers and the children of ISD 831 during his term. He has so much going for him, so why does he lead with such a lame argument as only an incumbent can do the job?

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
