Police: Mom arrested after chase with two kids in car and open ...

A woman had her two children in the car, ages 2 and 4, and an open bottle of rum in a diaper bag when she led police on a chase last week in western Hennepin County, police said today.

WOW, Those poor kids. Can't imagine what other sort of situations they have been exposed to. Hopefully there is a normal family member who will take custody of those kids. She is a selfish, selfish woman. I wouldn't even call her a woman. Everyone has problems... but there is no excuse to endanger your own child's life. Lock her up. Give her a couple of years to get clean and help, and then "Supervised" visits with her children, What a Piece of ***t!!!

I find it interesting that this HORRIFIC story only has 13 comments most of them a bit off the wall... however if a cop used a tazor on some one or got in a bar fight off duty the entire Pioneer Press comment column would be in a complete uproar! Weird! Where are all the concerned people now ?! This lady should NEVER be allowed to have her kids back and they should go to the thousands of parents in MN who can't have kids and would love to adopt some !

Calm down Deputy Drama. People get riled up when someone that has complied with the officers gets tazed, or was profiled, or was robbed by those wearing the badge. There is plenty of praise for when officers do a good job. But, last I checked, true officers of the law don't need praise from their mommies.
