Why is there, and why has there always been so many troopers in Marion County? Every time I come through there I see one, day or night. Never see them in Lexington.

Lexington is a very urban area with a big city police force. The rural counties can use the extra help.

I think Lexington could use them too. Guess the manpower is not there.

State Police are not allowed by law to Patrol in Lexington or Louisville. If they need help KSP can be called into assist.
If we are traveling thru one of those times and see a crime or possible DUI, we can make the stop, but just to patrol, not in one of those those. Be glad to stop you in Marion County anytime!!
