okay lets put it this way... im sure this post was for entertainment purposes so... to make a valid point.. Jesus does have a lot of the same characteristics that fictional vampires supposedly have: He died and then rose from the dead: He asked us to drink his blood: He could heal people : He was able to get people to do his will... Just like vampires in todays stories are able to do...

But, JESUS is the son of GOD and was sent to earth to die in exchange for our sins, and is of all things good and pure.

"vampires" drink others blood to survive, "vampires don't die, they are slowly turned into "vampires" due to another "vampires" blood entering their veins. "Vampires" are of evil not good.

Besides JESUS saves, he don't destroy

Anyone ever read Saints and Shadows?... book one to the Shadow saga by Christopher Golden... A good read, with an interesting plot twist... That not Judas, but Jesus being the fisrt Vampire...
Having to deal with the idea that before He was Crucified, Jesus spent tme in Hell, becoming tainted. Only avoiding full corruption due to His inate divinity. Thus being part demon/part devine...
And this book was released before any other show or film came up with the idea, besides in the eyes of plenty Jesus was not all good. We all say he is the son of god but everything in this world can be corrupted

Jesus did not teach to drink his literal blood. The Bible expressly forbids the drinking of blood. Jesus is God. God cannot lie. This means He cannot contadict Himself in any way. If His Holy Word says not to drink blood then He will not contradict that Word but honor it, for He is the Author of it. When we celebrate the Lord's supper, we are remembering His death burial and resurrection symbolically, in drinking the communion cup and eating bread. It is not literal. He commanded Christians to do this to remember what He has done for them, that is, keeping His death, burial and resurrection fresh in their(our) minds until He returns.

With that being said, if a church or organization disagrees with the Holy Word, then it is wrong, period. God cannot contradict Himself, there is no sort of falsehood or untruth about Him. God has kept His Word, the Bible, and preserved it for all generations thru all time. If the Holy Bible says it, and a church or teacher or preacher says something that disagrees, then they are wrong. God is right and that's the bottom line.

ok so jesus is god. And jesus is the son of god. So he is his own son and his own father. Or you mean there is a god and jesus is another god. Which is a contradiction of the phrase one true god? So if the bible is gods word isn't he contradicting himself with that one?
Or let's go crazy and just say jesus was a man who taught love morals and understanding and his teachings have been taken out of context and abused by centuries of religious zelots playing what in the end pretty much just boils down to a game of my god is bigger than your god and that the bible was infact written by a collection of polictions 1700 years ago trying to win the publics vote

How about the blue book theory? That we come from aliens. If you want to be technical, everything not born to this earth is alien to us, so does this mean that god who created the earth is alien? If you follow the definition it does!

Genesis 1:16
God created two lights

....I'm sure they are referring to the sun as a light, but the moon only reflects the suns light. These words coming from god, you'd think he'd know that, since he made them and all.

Ok you people are definately burned out and watch way to
much tv. And this is no place to display Jesus name. This
is a disgrace and I am ashamed of the quotes that have
been written on here about our lord and savior. Just think
before you write such stupid stuff. Don't disrespect Jesus
for he died for your sins and look like you need to take
advantage of his grace.

It's just a discussion, don't go all bible beater on everyone. Just because you have faith doesn't mean everyone else doesn't have questions!

well the bible didnt come out till 300 years after christ.it was overseen by an emperior of rome so you can take that for what its worth.it was wrote in hebrew then the so called christians turned it into american words.he was babtised by a babtist named john.yet he was a jew hum go figure.i believe there is a higher power but the jesus thing is far fetched.i also belive a person can have peace or hell.it depends on how you live you know right from wrong by nature not by book
