don't bother, it's not meant for the feint-hearted anyway
I rarely bother to read what Paranoid Pete copies and pastes. You express what you can copy and that is fine, and I express that I dom't bother to read it, and that is even finer. LOL

Today is the 39th anniversary of the tornado outbreak that left 27 people dead in Kentucky mainly in and around Brandenburg. Several more deaths and the entire town of Xenia Ohio totally destroyed. I only had about $500 in damages, and was BLESSED that it was not worse for me and my family.

Good morning, my fine feathered friends. I am still not fully awake after two cups of coffee, but I don't want to miss an opportunity to say hello. Sun is shining and birds are singing, but there are too many. They do have a way of polka dotting everything in their flight path. There is a big variety in my yard, but the starlings and blackbirds do dominate. They gather in huge flocks in the trees as they roost overnight, and whatever is beneath gets a thick coating of guano. I have a pasture shelter for my two remaining equines and they have taken that over by nesting in the crevices and eaves. It sounds like a huge cacophany of blended chirps. I do worry a bit about their ability to carry certain diseases to both human and animal. Will pop in later to see what you folks are talking about.

One Sunday morning, Satan appeared before a small town congregation. Everyone started screaming and running for the front church door, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away.

Soon, everyone was gone, except for an elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew. Satan walked up to the man and said, "Don't you know who I am?"

The man replied, "Yep, sure do."

Satan asked, "Aren't you going to run?"

"Nope, sure ain't," said the man.

Perturbed, Satan asked, "Why aren't you afraid of me?"

The man calmly replied, "'Cause I've been married to your sister for over 48 years, now."
