When the wind is from the SW we are getting the smoke from the horseshoe 2 fire. Today with the wind from the NW we are catching it from the Wallow fire.

Wrong. it is all from the Wallow fire. People in Tucson arent even getting the smoke from the wallow fire.

I meant the horse shoe 2 fire. Yep the air is clear in Tucson. And that fire is W of them.

Tuscon is south of the wallow fire and west of the horseshoe fire. So unless there is a north wind or a east wind they aren't getting smoke from either fire.

What difference? This is an article in a newspaper- it should be correct. The poor stupid dummies in this town would believe it was still the White Fire if you told em that.

Educate yourself.

Oh, I am educated--maybe too much. Point is, your looking for any dummy out there to pick on and condescend to. Makes you feel superior, I suppose.
Yes the article was in the paper, but when you start arguing over stuff that really doesn't lend to it. Well, that is why I responded.
Where the smoke is coming from is a mute point, isn't it?
Educate yourself!

Not being nasty. Just stating fact. What difference does it make, which fire is causing the smoke? The fact is, we have smoke.
Very nice comment though--as well as educated.

It doesnt matter where smoke comes from?
Of course it matters. The horseshoe fire is mostly contained and not that large, however it is EAST of Tucson- not West. Still, I am told that the smoke is coming from the fire burning in the central East part of Arizona/the one that crossed the line in to Mexico. Just follow the jet stream on the map. And suck it down. That smoke was bad this morning.
