Good story, it's nice when the Sun News actually reports on something that not many people in Cruces would know of.

Salud, Lupe Sierra Stamm!! Great story, from a true patriot! My own service was with the Navy Waves, and all
stateside, but my heart beats a little faster when I hear or read of women who also served in the "War to end all wars". I, too, loved the military and went on to teach school (some in Deming). Our memories will always be with us. We were blessed to have served our country, no?
