I love how one of the things Carol Sue Dakan was going to work on was "getting the City out of debt" and she squawkes on about how "the city is spending too much money" and the first thing she does is recommend hiring a Financial Assistant. Salary would be around 32,000.00 so her solution is to ask the City Manager, who has worked his butt off, to take "a small pay cut". Unbelievable!

For the life of me I don't see how this woman was elected to office. Colorado City made a tragic mistake by not re-electing Mayor Jim Baum. He was a man ahead of his time and an excellent spokesperson for the city.
