Does anybody have any information about this or attend this pain clinic and wish to comment? Also I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a clinic with similar compassion.

It's probably not gonna open back up unless they are able to get a new Medical Director!!! The crazy woman that owns the place is nothing but GREEDY that's why she can't keep the place open. If she ran her business like a normal pain clinic an not take 100 patients a day she might be able to keep the doors open to a clinic longer than 4 days!!!! My best advice is to find a real pain management.... As long as you have real records you shouldn't have a problem doing so. I know Primary Care WILL NOT take any of Elites patients bc they don't want the drama at their door!!!

I figured that would be a problem, them having a bad name and other doctors not wanting to accept me as a patient. Its a shame that their bad reputation will probably effect my level of daily pain. If anyone has the name of a good pain management doctor in the Hixon, Chattanooga area? Please I am begging for your help. If you could possibly send any information or a referral with phone num. would be swsome

I had a good friend that went there on Monday I think and the staff told everyone that the doctor was sick that day so if they wanted to go ahead and pay their money and take their class that they would see the doctor the next morning and get their prescriptions. My friend was hurt in the Iraq war and really has problems. He gave them 210 for office visit and class and they were closed the next day. These people should be arrested and prosecuted. Now my friend is out all his money and is in major pain. So sad that greed stomps on the very people who defended the sorry lady and doctor who scammed these people.

Dr. Mary McDonald on hwy 153 in Hixson is pretty good, she takes self-pay as well as almost every insurance. She doesn't just "hand-out" pain meds but she is a good doctor who listens and realizes that you're really in pain.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have legitimate injuries resulting from several serious motor vehicle accidents. Do you know if she takes walk ins?

Walk-ins? No, I doubt it - it takes a couple of weeks for new patient scheduling probably.

There is a clinic in crossville that is taking elite care patients and backing them down off their medication. This is not a long term solution if you have legitimate concerns but the addicts can go there and get backed down off the medication to prevent withdraws. It may not be the right thing for fakers but it is compassionate. Personally the fakers should suffer for the problems they have caused the legit patients with actual pain. JMHO.

Can you please provide the name of this doc. And possibly a phone number. Thanks so much for the helpful reply.

If you really have a problem warranting pain medication, see a real doctor, not some scammers. If you just want the meds, go to the hood and find a drug dealer morons.

One day you will be in pain, almost all people go through it. Hopefully you won't be thrown around like some people with chronic pain are, I know from experience - nobody likes to treat someone with chronic pain unless there is an end date to either their life or their pain.

Elite care moved to Allardt. I read it in the crossville forum. Something about the owner wanting to move the clinic closer to Ky. Does anyone have the new number?

I see a pain management Dr in Ringgold Ga. If you arent familiar with the location its 15 mins south of Chattanooga Tn. His name is Dr Coles . he is an american Dr who is easy to speak with. he only accepts ligitemate patients but he does prescribe a wide variety of medication. his website is www.cmcpain.com . Dont go in there expecting hundreds of pills . His initial fee is 135$ after that you only have to visit him once every three months. He mails you your prescriptions for 95$ for the months inbetween. I also never have an issue with getting my medicine filled

It is so sad to see people that live everyday with pain can not get the medication(s) they need because others abuse the system. My heart felt sympathy goes to those who live, especially those who have served in the military for our freedom just so some people can lie to get their drugs. Most of us don't get "high" just decrease the level of pain to get by. The doctors at different pain clinics can only go with the medical records but will find those people who 'drug shop' with multiple doctors. I can attest that the majority of those people with chronic pain would be happy if they did not need 'drugs'. I hope none of you every have to live with pain because it really sucks.
