Odon field designated shovel-ready

A bean field in Odon is now one of seven sites Indiana has designated as shovel-ready for new business.

I hope this pans out for the people of Odon. Jobs are needed so badly for this area. I hope they are jobs with real pay and benefits as well. There are plenty of jobs in this area that pay just min. wage, fewer than 40 hours a week, oh and no benefits at all. It would be nice for Odon to be revived again with people who work instead of steal or deal dope. Who knows, maybe Main street would have more business open and the ones that are there, thrive. Hope this works out.

You would think Caseys opening in Odon was as big a deal as when Crane first started hiring. Lets see, the dozen or so employees at Caseys might make up for the loss of Odon Clothing as far as employees. Just hope these "shovel ready" jobs are not just something to help bury Odon in its own grave.
