Teacher, Coach Charged With Sexual Misconduct

A teacher and coach in southern Minnesota is arrested and charged for engaging in sexual acts with a student. According to the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Department, 35-year-old Troy Michael Bernard is charged with first degree criminal sexual misconduct. Bernard is a teacher at Montgomery/Lonsdale school and is also the head coach of the girls track and volleyball teams. Authorities say Bernard is suspected of "engaging in sexual misconduct" with a student of the school at his home and at the school. Read more

I have known troy for most of my childhood. He was a very good friend to me and my family. He never once tried to do anything wrong to us. I believe this was not intentionally done. People make mistakes, and now he has to live with his choice. My prayers go out for him and his family.
