As long as they departed from SAN ON TIME..that is all NWA/Delta cares about. Now, say they were an agent, and the flight was oversold and had a standby list of 90, and this agent is working the flight BY HER/HIMSELF, and takes a 1 minute boarding delay... I can assure you this poor agent making 12 bucks an hour is in more trouble than thses pilots because "gasp" God forbid she took a DELAY..o MY GOD fire that agent NOW!..Trust me..the flight went out on time and these guys are Pilots, not some measly agent or ramp guy who took a delay because they were shorthanded..nope these guys are safe..
