That's quite an assumption. What if it is the old man screwing everything that walks his way?

Instead of assuming the worst of a mother, the main problem here what are the parent or parents doing? I sure hope they holding the parents responsible and busting them instead.

11 years old and he brings drugs and a gun to school. It's hard to find an upside to this, but at least it was just marijuana, and the gun wasn't loaded (this time). My guess is, his parent(s) were too busy sucking on a crack pipe to notice. His criminal lifestyle is off to a great start. Good luck little thuglette. Your future looks short and bleak.
I don't think his identity should be kept secret. You need to know who this wart on the a$$ of society is.

Hmm, carrying a gun and marijuana, and only 11 years old? Certainly off to a good start, isn't he? Sad thing is, he probably DID get the gun and pot at home. What on earth kind of life do these kids have that they're starting on this stuff at younger and younger ages? Horrible.

Any body want to take bets? I'll make a prediction here - in 5 years (maybe less) when he's arrested & tazed, his mommy will be on the evening news telling us "what a good boy" he is. and how the big, bad cops did him wrong.

What happened to being 11, having fun climbing trees and playing baseball?? Innocence lost too soon. Nowadays, kids are glued to cell phones, video games and have been so desensitized to blood and killing and too busy trying to look like thugs and s-luts. It's just plain sad. Parents, society, environment? Who is there to blame? I just hope the poor kid gets the help he needs. Unfortunately, chances are he'll be on the street dealing or running drugs before too long.

My children attended the Woodlands Elementary just las t year, we live in the neighborhood across the street. It is avery nice upper midle class area, with a low mobility rate. An A+ ranked school with a fairly low free lunch rate as well a a low minority rate. The neighborhood the boy lives in, Mandarian is a $300,00 plus community. With all this being said, children will be influenced by negative role models and lack of proper parenting no matter where they live. I have to say this is shocking. This is a school that is literally crawling with PTA and school volunteers, very well staffed and supervised. Where did he get ths gun and why and how did he get the window punch? Crime has increased in oucommunity in he last 2 years or so.This is a sign of things to come notjust for this child but our community as well.

If the facts reported in the article are true, then this child was a little drug-dealer-wanna-be (or maybe actually was) and was acting as his own enforcer. Where are the parents? They are still responsible. How pathetic that a child will chose this type of behavior.

What wonderful parents this kid must have!
ARREST AND CHARGE THE PARENTS WITH ARMED POSSESION,THEN TAKE THE KID FROM THEM!
Also have the child attend a firearm safety class and a D.A.R.E. course!

You are a real azzho, dont attack my Constitutional rights with your stupid comments!
My 11 year old is a avid shooter who is a better marksman than most police officers, and guess what,I dont ever have to worry about him bringing a gun to school or acting in any unsafe manner with a firearm!
Teach you children gun safety and raise them right and you wont be reading crap like this in the news!
The sad fact is that most of these kids today have parents who choose to allow the public schools, daycare, mtv, and video games to raise thier children!

I am not attacking your rights, as a gun lover you should be happy that I am for, letting all kids pack a gun, if you don't like it move up north, here in florida everybody should be packing at least a semiauto rifle. Let the bullets fly and let god sort it out
