Controversial pastor picked for Mansfield patrol program

MANSFIELD -- Mansfield Mayor Curtis McCoy wants to start a pastor on patrol program for the Mansfield Police Department and he's selected as his first candidate a self-described minister with a controversial past that includes time spent on the other side of the jail bars and troubles with the court system.

I wonder if his wife Martha Jones who works over at the Council on Aging is aware of his games? Call her and see. Roy Jones is and has always been one who thinks he is above law. You and SugarSweet should both take a look at yourselves before you start to condemn, there are always two sides to a story, Roy is a grown man, Martha has no control over him, and who are you all to try and destroy a marriage? You both talk about knowing the bible and whats right and wrong, but yet you chose to act out of the flesh and be messy by talking about this on the internet and by talking bout calling this lady, you both need to check yourselves, Im sure if we were to take a look at both your personal lives that their would be plenty that you could be condemned for, thats whats wrong with "so-called church folks" today they are always quick to judge and stick their noses in other peoples business, Mind Your Business!!! And be careful of the ill-will that you speak on others because it has a way of coming back on you, No one is perfect and if Roy has done wrong when judgement day comes he and only he will have to answer for that, but you are not the judge and jury. Yes, I guess we will see now. Let's see, alleged: illegal payments to wife, husband, son and daughter-in-law, nepotism in violation of state law, personal use of coa vehicle, failure to report extra income, etc., etc., etc.. I expect these alleged findings are only the tip of the iceberg. Once the state police investigators and the state hired CPA audit are finished, we will know the truth. Hopefully, the family saved a lot of money as they will need it for the lawyers.

Me thinks the high and mighty, Joneses are about to take a mighty fall from the top of the heap to beneath the botton of the heap. Unlike other problems with COA managers in other parishes, which were allegdly covered up by the local governments to avoid embarrassment, this case been elevated. The state police are involved and the Governor's Office on Elderly Affairs has been forced to appoint an independent Certified Public Accountant firm to perform an audit. I seriously doubt Mr. Jindal will allow this to be swept under the carpet. But I could be wrong, as this is only my opinion and much stranger things have happened in Louisiana.
