you missed the poster's point.

If they are taking people in a bus down the road to have some kind of self-congratulatory love fest, why don't they just open the road, or finish whatever it needs - it appears finished if they are allowing traffic on it - and then have the party. Do you understand the axiom: Cart before the horse?

Get it, Washington bureaucramp?

If you are still displaced and no one will even talk about timeframes for restoring access to your home (forget water or elec, we're talking just driving to the place), it seems a little early for a party.

We have already held 14 parties (and are soon to have a Halloween glutfest) celebrating how strong we are. Yet there are still people who have no way to see if their home is even safe, let alone occupy it. Instead of giving them cheap chocolate, how about focuswing on restoring them to a basic level of human dignity, instead of making them eat cake.

Estus Pork should be ashamed of how much fun they are having in a time of despair. And to have a party for the people who repaired the roads at exhorbituntly inflated costs, I'm not exactly sure why we aren't also honoring those of us that do their jobs every day, despite hardships and full bladders, with no gouging of the federal government. Oh, but in Estus Pork, that level of competancy don't exist no more.
