LaPorte man pleads guilty to pot cultivation
A LaPorte man who authorities said was the mastermind behind the largest pot operation ever uncovered in Larimer County has pleaded guilty to marijuana cultivation and agreed to serve four years in prison.

4 years in prison for growing MJ.....stupid. Don't care how large it was, just plain stupid. Waste of taxpayer money.

crime is crime,get over it,any illegal drug is dangerous..meth,pot,moonshine, rape,theft,,it is wrong and against the law..GROW UP STUPID

Wow...meeeow..hiss hiss Justice!? Really growing a plant is comparable to rape, methanphetamines and theft? Illegal? Yes. Worth the 5 years...probably not. I agree that you should be punished but a rapist and thief or an wack job playing chemist nextdoor shouldn't get less time than some guy growing a pretty harmless plant. As for growing up? You really just called someone stupid for having an opinion about a sentence being to steep for the crime. I know some law enforcement who would agree with Ken.
