So I'm going east bound on Rt. 80 at 8am taking some friends to Newark Airport and traffic comes to a crawl. Extra 10-15 minutes lost.

Then while on I-78 it comes to a stop because everyone is trying to get on the Turnpike. Waited 20 minutes to get around that one.

Mainly these traffic slow downs were reoccurring at entrance and exit ways.

I commented to my friends who are retired and had no conception of the rush-hour traffic problems:
"they need more jobs the other way".

I mean really, if you were a laborer who had to commute from the west to the east near Jersey City, you'd just wind up being fired for being late too many times. Or spend 3 hours a day commuting to go 50 miles round trip. It's really ridiculous.

You'd think government would notice what the problem is. Or that companies seeking lower tax rates would move west.
But nah, lets keep things all messed up.
