What happened to Kyleigh and her family was a tragedy. But the bill her mother put together is not the right response - noble intentions don't automatically make good policy. While this bill would supposedly make young drivers safer, all it would really do is discriminate against teens while doing nothing to make them any safer. I agree with the law trying to be passed for the driving age to be 21. Teens that want to drive to school or work should have a limit on what time they should be able to drive. A testing time of 3 years should be enforced, because they feel they are invincible. I've come across teens driving too fast, cutting in front of me even though you're on a road that is 50mph. They have bad judgement. That's why a 3 year limit of "testing" should be the law. Now that brings about the drinking age. Does that really count??? They're already drinking and driving as soon as they get their license at 17 and even before that. I feel sorry for the parents who have lost their child in a car accident. Even though it was someone else's fault or not. USE GOOD JUDGEMENT!! "No Fear" is no longer an issue.

If a child under the age of 18 can get tried as an adult in court if they commit a crime, then they should at least be able to have the same rules and lawas as them. And the driving age should not be 21, that is the most outrageous. If it was 21, then 21-year-olds would be bad drivers-changing the age isn't going to make a difference. Considering I'm young and I bother my parents all the time when they have to pick me up at work and I don't have my car, it's frustrating on everyone.

I've come across adults driving too fast. I feel sorry for those who have lost their lives as well. This, however is ridiculous. Nothing good is going to come of this. Did anyone even think about anything before jumping on the bandwagon? Lets also target the Elderly and whatever race gets into more accident. Lets also make it easy for predators to follow wait in parking lots by cars with Orange stickers for the young girls coming back to them. Lets have parents pay $3,000 for their children's 60 hours. Lets also have parents pick up their children who work past 11. How about not being allowed to drive out of state with your provisional? Lets make it illegal for seniors in college to drive to their houses or apartments out of state or past 11...it makes NO SENSE!!
