The real facts are we have a def of 53 TRILLION DOLLARS (with taxes that's around 58 TRILLION). The fact is no party seems to address that fact. The problem is we seem to deal with feelings rather than facts (both sides). The IRS overspends each year and seems to always send out more than it gets...GET RID OF IRS & go with a tax that catches everyone...those honest & dishonest. Any business knows you have a budget and a profit. The idea is to make a profit, and if you are not make the changes to get that profit (with the problems with illegals alone we don't have enough money to even think about free health care). Buying votes, by throwing money away and allowing illegals to get away with breaking in line of those going by our laws is our fault by voting in those with their own agenda's, rather than listen to those who voted them in.(Now everyone seems to think the government should pay your mortgage payments). We shut down, both Democrats & Republican voters did, the phone lines when we all found out illegals were going to get a free pass(Amnesty), drivers license, free medical,a free education, ect. Now, today, Democrats are saying illegals should get part of this income tax "rebate". It's like watching a damn soap opera (Congress).
The truth is we are to blame. All most of us do is blog or cut each other down, rather than email, phone or send a letter to our representatives to show our distrust of all of them.
Now they are trying to meddle with the school system again too. The "No Child Left Behind" became the dumbing down of smart kids...cause they have to wait until the "others" to start caring about their grades, or just sit and wait. The graduation rate started going those in charge in Washington decide to change the grade points so more students could pass and graduate (the only answer our "government" can come up with), and as of last week a new program has come out to sweeten the pot for students to stay in after school programs, to PAY THE STUDENTS eight dollars an hour!!!???
This is the truth, but what will WE all do to change this (both Republican & Democrats)?
We ALL need a change, but at what cost? The problems we are already dealing with need to be addressed, not these P.R. hearing's to see who did steroids, or finger pointing. Enough is enough! The money "they" keep throwing isn't coming out of their bank accounts, it's all of us the tax payers, or THERE BOSSES!

Heard today that Harry Reed doesn't want many of the hard working Americans who pay taxes to get a rebate. He only wants who HE wants to get a rebate, to get one. Sounds like discrimination against hard working, tax paying Americans to me. It is sounding more and more like class envy or jealousy against hard working Americans. There are many of us who give large DONATIONS to many different charities, and our local school districts, who are always in need of money for the childrens education, in addition to the huge amount of taxes given. I don't need the rebate, but I don't need to be discriminated against because my husband and I work hard and earn a good salary. Discrimination against hard working Americans - either all who pay taxes should get the rebate or none, otherwise it's discrimination.

I would pay on my house payment and buy my seventeen year old son a set of queen size mattress since he has out grown his regular size ones.I think everyone should get something because car gas is so high and so is the power bills.

The $800 will go into my savings to make up for lost interest because the feds cut the rates. I will not help them stimulate the economy. This program is a joke.

If I really want to make sure the money does not go back into our economy, I'll hire some illegals to cut my lawn this summer. My $800 will help stimulate Mexico's economy when it gets wired back over there. I bet a ton of this money ends up in the hands of illegals one way or the other.

No matter who or what we blame for the horrible situation this nation is in we are still in it.
Will this rebate benefit the economy...I really don't think so. It is a short term "solution" to a long term problem.
I drive a car with only 33,000 miles on it and it is almost 9 years old. I bought it brand new and it is paid off. I will drive it until it dies. I refuse to drive around aimlessly and make sure when I am out I consolidate all my trips into one as short as possible.
For 10 years my only "job" was unpaid, I was a stay-at-home mom. I returned to work in 1999 when my last child started school full time. My husband supported us all. We didn't have all the extras but we paid our bills and we ate. I cut my boys hair myself to save money. I was/am a master on how to use ground meat to save money. Stretching a dollar became an art form for me.
People need to pull themselves up by the boot straps and get a reality check. And please save me the sob stories...they just don't work for me any longer.
If and when I ever get a check it will be put towards something worthwhile. I am under no illusions that this is "free" money. Maybe I will buy an extra package of ground beef and an extra gallon of milk. Who knows...maybe I will be able to add some potatoes to the list as well.

This is the first time I had ever applied for a loan. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff that answered any of my questions to the application process. Once this had all been completed the money was transferred quickly into my account. I will definitely be recommending 911PDAY .COM ( ) too my friends and family.
