Yea and what about the millions the ARTISTS get in albums, movies, personal apperances, New format get a life, you have no clue how radio works!!!! If it wouldnt be for radio these wack jobs that say they can sing wouldnt even get noticed if it wasnt for radio, time the government worries about other REAL things and let the media alone..

True, they need to be paid. However, a board made up of recording industry folks will make sure they get theirs, first. They don't really have the artist in mind, just their own wallets.

If this station would hold an Air Supply, A-through-Z weekend, they could really rally the public to their side.
Then, a Clay Aiken week, playing everything he's ever done, over and over and over, including his inspirational speeches.
That's Entertainment!
