i dont know. i see them beating hempstead, plainview, and uniondale. i see them losing against farmingdale, freeport, and syosset. at best they will split against pequa and east meadow. the offense will be good, but i dont see the defense improving enough to really make a difference. they will finish 4-4.

Massapequa is nothing with or without Andre. He left them(Massapequa) what 14 years ago to go to Lawrence? Massapequa didn't have one player that came close to being chosen All Long Island nor Second Team All Long Island. They had two or three players maybe that should be mentioned running back Ken Fundus, wide receiver Steve Romano and defensive end Brian Reilly.

Massapequa should be ranked no higher than #12.

fred cciampi didnt win anthing at lawrece. mott will win because he worked under andre, not moolo or ciampi. all they knew back then was agilities and try to make one guy a star, no team mentallity. they never broke down tape or watched and corrected. this is all from their [players before andre got there. massapequa is not a 12th seed, but according to mott through andre the way they practice they should be.

howie vogts how many of his 379 wins were legit- maybe 230 or 200.the man did not coach he just was there, but he did built a good program, just like many others.this year bethpage goes 4-4 as the town slowly becomes trailer trash and neo-nazi.

glad he is in pequa doesn't know squat. your mofia coaches at lawrence in the 70's, 80's 90's thought a football clinic was going to, an italian restaurant and stuffing their fat faces.

Didn't Coach Caimpi write an article on how to attack a 5-2 defense with the Blast/Counter Blast in the late 1990's?

Richie Mollo now there was a players coach. At less Mollo was Nassau Coach of the Year once and Lou Andre was what 4X Nassau Coach of the Year, and I think three of them were with Massapequa?

thats ridiculous. no higher than 12? they are seeded 6th going into this season. thats probably around where they should be. but you're saying that there are 11 teams in conference 1 better than massapequa? i will say that the kids there now are not like they were back when andre won the LIC with them in 93 and 94. massapequa is a lacrosse town first. they used to have football kids playing other sports to stay in shape (for football). now they have lacrosse and baseball kids playing football to stay in shape. its a big difference. andre said himself that the attitude and toughness are non-existent now. but with all that said they are still much better than a 12 seed. they have a relatively easy schedule like last year. they will probably go 5-3 and finish as a 4 seed in the playoffs. maybe they win a game but then they get soundly beaten by a better team.

I was being nice @ 12, but then I looked at their soft schedule again for 2010. Oceanside(Loss), Hempstead(Win), Uniondale(Win), Freeport(Loss), Kennedy(Win), Syosset(Loss), Herricks(Win), and Farmingdale(Loss). I was nice and put them at 4-4. I still think that Kennedy could beat them which would put them @3-5.

I see no East Meadow which would've been a loos and no Baldwin which would've been another loss. Massapequa didn't play either one in 2009. Last year again you beat Syosset(which I couldn't believe) only to loss to them in the playoffs, Calhoun, Uniondale, Kennedy, Herricks, and Hempstead. Lost to Freeport, Farmingdale, Syosset.

The teams they should beat had a combined won/loss record of 5-27, the teams I know their going to loss to 29-13.

"RIVALRY" not hate. Massapequa is 13-4-1 in NCC Finals, we still hold the edge in NCC final head to head 2 to 1(won in 1975, 2004), lost in 1993, and has won 2 out of 3 LIC's(won 1993, won 1994, lost in 1998).
