Denise Ford should have listened to the Residents and made Lido Blvd safer.

Vote her out in 2014.

There's nothing you can do about lousy drivers.....and lousy they are.....ya do know he ran into the car right?? Is it possible you've never had a near miss with some kid on a board or a bike or even on foot??? The only way to make the streets safer is to get the lousy drivers off the road.

Oh Lord I screwed that up....I didn't actually mean to imply that this particular driver was lousy cause the kid kind of ran into him...but I feel both reckless drivers and reckless pedestrians put their own selves at risk...not Denise Ford and not the road.

I got what you were implying. The kid ran into the car. That's a fact. I understand he is improving daily. I wonder how the driver is doing. I don't blame Denise Ford or the roadway. I do not think any unmotorized vehicles should be on a 6 lane roadway at all.

OK glad he is improving......and uh I agree with you. I saw a teen girl on one of those shake back and forth boards and man she came out from behind a car into oncoming on beech st..she scared the crap out of the driver and just turned back like nothing happened.....oh and she was texting......no apologies just went her way.

First off, calling him a child makes him sound a little too innocent. 14 and skateboarding often translates into a rude and trouble making teen. Just sayin'
