Long Beach fights utility suits
The city continues to grapple with litigation with its former utility provider. OpTech, which handled the city's public works for several years, is suing the city for severing a contract in January 2007.

More tax payer money down the drain from incompetence. A contract is a contract. When you breach, you pay. How hard is that you friggin morons.
LB looks like a blighted ghetto. Streets are not maintained,(sans my cars suspension). What the hell are these idiots doing. Good ol' boys doing what they have alwasys done.
