I watched this unfold from my 7th story window.....seemed to take much more than 10 mins, but have to say LB Fire/Rescue were awesome to watch in action...I am thankful I work in LB where they are quick to respond! From my vantage point...looked like maybe she fell off the platform. Hope she is okay! At any rate, tacky pic to post of maintenance cleaning up the site.....so unnecessary!

Why is it that people cannot get out of the way of a train? These things are huge, they make noise and some people just don't get it. It has to be a suicide atempt, no other way to explain it.

I agree with Jim. Has to be suicide attempt, or just pure ignorance laziness and some of these people FEEL they can beat the train. Doh

I don't think it was tacky at all. It's reality, and if people are going to be either suicidal, or dumb to cross the path of a train, why not show the reality of it?

blue-line metroline should be more careful with the community. they destroyed a life of a women who could know be traumatized for the rest of her life i disagree with metro-line and would never be on board on one of those 4the rest of my life.

How does someone not realize the B.line is coming in their direction when they are that close to the tracks? Sounds intentional. Selfish. She put a lot of people in danger and inconvenienced. Stupid. No sympathy.

I too hope she'll be okay, but you sound like you're already traumatized. Your comments made me giggle. Honestly, what more can a gigantic train with bells and loud horns do to be more "careful with the community?" I take it you rode the short bus.

this is an insurance scam! how can a sane person blame the blue line metro and say they should be more careful. they are on a track and can not move off of it. the person has to make contact with the train. the community needs to be more careful with the blue line. suicide by train and then sueing the city needs to stop asap.

I like The Headless Horseman's response. She probably should have been decapitated -- suicide by train...there's a thought.
