My sister works at 1 world trade center in long beach. The building is connected to the Hilton. Today a man jumped and died from an unknown floor at the Hilton. we were wondering why there was no news coverage of this?

My father as well works at the World Trade Center in Long Beach. And we were also wondering if anyone (news or newspaper) covered this story?

I work on a floor that is higher than the Hilton in the WTC. The body could be seen from our floor, it happened around 7am. The man jumped from the top of the Hilton, left his shoes on the roof. He was wearing shorts and a sweatshirt and socks. He looked young.. 30s? I am also wondering why there was no coverage about this.

I was staying at the hotel. I didn't see him jump, but I saw him lying there.

He was a latino in his 20's or 30's heavy set. There was no blood.

All I heard from any employee was he was unathorized to be on the roof.

The front desk wouldn't answer any of my questions that night, but they were clearly shaken.

I work at WTC Long Beach too, he was a young man of middle eastern descent.(according to police) He checked in at around 6:30Am asked for a room on the top floor, and shortly after found his way up to the roof and jumped.

When we saw his body, there was no blood. But soon after a slite shower passed by and some blood poured out. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, brown or burgandy, and dark cargo pants (not shorts). He landed face down, and when the coroner flippedhim over I noticed his left leg twisted, as if broken bellow the knee (from the fall). They pulled out of his pockets a set of keys and a lighter, that's all. Young man, no tatoos.

Yeah but not in the middle of a busy neighborhood. He landed on a car and could have killed the driver not to mention people below. He is selfish.
