Due to lack of interest there will be no Pro American Festivals in Long Beach. City Hall felt that celebrating America would be too divisive in a "progressive" city where people are defined by their hyphens.

Oh how true! The American flag and the pride that goes along with it has been lost to stupidity. Our lack of pride in this nation has caused the politicians to run amok and the proof is the city counsel.
What happened to out American way of living?

It went away when sanctuary cities became the norm, and you did nothing about it.

Not all of us were cruel enough to vote for the State and Local Democrats. The majority let us sink into Santuary status because they were too lazy to even bother to Vote against the anti citizen agenda put forth by what pass of Democrats in California.

If one wants a good laugh over gross ineptitude at the PT, just read this convoluted article. Is it Martin who hails from Arkansas who has a Latina wife and organizes gay Latino events for the white Council hack who has a Latina wife. Anyway we at least know that someone has a Latina wife, that theme is repeated LOL

Is it Martin then, who has a Latina wife and is organzing Gay Latino parades on behalf of the white Councilman who has a Latina wife....LOL

Does the PT have an Editor on board?

When they call it a "latino" festival, it's not primarily about culture or nationality. It's about race. Since whites are soon to be a minority, we're going to have to start planning our "white day" parades on ocean blvd.

Barry Manilow will be the big draw, Regis Philbin will be the grand marshal and Linsey Lohan will be the Queen. Food provided by Marie Calendars. Sounds pretty exciting.

Wow. You're like the Steppin' Fetchit of white people who hate themselves. Let me give you a hand...

For our White Appreciation Jubilee, I was thinking more of the NY Philharmonic starting off the show with Aaron Copeland's "Ode to the Common Man." Then we would have an outdoor IMAX 3D movie on a 4 story screen of the landing of the Mars Lunar Lander, along with some live feed of it crossing the Martian landscape, while the philharmonic plays some of the best of Mozart.

As long as we have the screen up, some of the great works of major white photographers might be nice. Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, etc. Then maybe highlight some of our celebrated inventors and their creations we enjoy across the cultural gamut today. Edison, the Wright brothers, Tesla, Ford, Steve Jobs, etc.

Then we might have a small fashion show highlighting some great clothes on the best of the white models from the Ford agency with Moby accompanying them.

Then for the dance portion, we'd would have a 3D laser rendition of the Beatles virtually performing onstage for the first time in years. Then maybe a little Taylor Swift for the kids. And finally some Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young for the elderly to wax nostalgic.

Then, as long as we have the IMax screen up, we'd have a little documentary dramatically illustrating what the United States would be like now, if white people never landed on it's shores. Ooo! Bloody, scary and ridiculous!

Then a dramatic representation of the quality of US life if no blacks or hispanics had ever arrived here. Whites only. Ooo! Where's all the wrought iron gates on the doors and windows of our homes? Where's all the graffiti and trash? How come all those little kids are riding bikes around the neighborhood by themselves with no adults watching nervously? Why, it looks a lot like Switzerland!

Then we'd cry, hug each other, and head back to Naples Island, Palos Verdes, and the Anaheim Hills, where we belong.

Misrepresenting the accomplishments of white people is "sarcasm" for what purpose? So races of lesser accomplishments don't feel bad? Just trying to be "the better man"? How's that been working out for you?
White people makes life worth living. Without them, it's chaos. You know that. Trying to "sarcastically" state anything contrary is just being an ass.

Lighten up. You got a problem with Barry Manilow? What a F-n jerk.
