1. As you all have been told before, illegal aliens don't pay for themselves. You wanted them, and now the parks are closing programs.

2. If you don't like it, grow a pair and confront the city council at a meeting that allows the public to speak back, and tell them you don't want this city to be a magnet for people you can't afford to carry. Do it all the time.

3. To help you get in the right frame of mind from now on, turn in any illegals you know to ICE.

4. Until illegals are reduced, NO EXTRA PARK PROGRAMS!

Governor Brown refuses to make any meaningful changes in the Pension debacle. Let the Municpal Bankruptcy Judges handle California's demise.

Both Lowenthal's stood with Brown showing unity with the Unions against what the elected Calif Democrats refer to as "the filthy non union citizen scum and their nasty families".

Wow, super. LB City workers with a base pay over 100K/year increased 40% in 1 year to about 865 people. At least it's good to know we're geting a square return on investment.

Voters total lack of concern for the future has made Long Beach a pathetic joke of a City.

Cut's in parks are the first logical ones, in craphole Long Beach .. need schools to babysit, and cops and firement for public safety. Who gives a shat what the spoiled residents want. LB is nearly bankrupt, what do the residents not get about this.

This is such an easy fix. Privatize the Parks Dept......use extremely competent private contractors..bid out the work..improve quality and accountability...save MILLIONS and stop the madness of the legacy unfunded pension costs for the City.

Any class of ten year olds could solve this mess. Why can't City Hall?

Voters total lack of concern makes them the pathetic joke while the cities and states laugh all the way to the bank with the taxpayers money. Have you seen the state's comprehensive annual financial reports (CAFR)? Those Wall Street investments they make with our money pays off pretty hansomely while at the same time they cry and whine that they need to dig even deeper into our pockets to make ends meet. California alone is sitting on 600 billion in ready available cash right now. You didn't know that? Google CAFR and do your own research, guaranteed to blow your mind.
