Buy Electronic Cigarettes to Stop? I'd read this first before falling for all the false propaganda being fed to the public. The local newspapers are full of fear mongering and scare tactics.

Don't be mislead by all the garbage they print. Don't let them put the fear in you that nicotine is toxic. While the whole, "They haven't been around long enough. So we don't know what the effects of long term use could cause", is a fear with no facts.

Let's see,...the FDA has approved nicotine patches and gum, hundreds of vaccines along with pharmaceutical drugs. These are available on the shelves everywhere to purchase. They are all killing you and they have been approved by the Fraud & Death Association.

Electronic cigarettes have 4 to 5 basic ingredients. They can save you thousands of dollars along with improving your health. Most of all they fulfill the physical part of the habit that most don't pay any mind to. It's not the nicotine that addicts you as much as the physical gestures.

An electronic cigarette gives you the satisfaction of that throat hit you get with regular smoking. The physical hand to mouth gesture is a big part of the habit along with the fact that most who light up are simply bored at the moment. On the couch watching television. Stuck in bumper to bumper traffic during the rush hour. That is when most smokers grab the pack, pull one out and light it up.

I enjoy my Green Smoke and it looks and feels like smoking one of those old rolled tobacco cigarettes. Without the ashes, the odor and the high cost which is crazy. Rolled tobacco is still the highest taxed commodity in the States. Going for as much as $120 in some big cities. You can purchase a starter kit for electronic cigarettes which only needs to be purchased once to get you started.

Now is the time to start looking for all the Sales and big discounts around the corner with the Holidays coming. I started getting mine at a site that is full of information and facts. If money is tight and you are a smoker, fix two with one decision. Make the switch today. I did and will never regret it.

I can appreciate what the author states about the habit forming nature of cigarettes but I see no mention of the influence these have on kids or the potential for seeding the packs with more than the four or so chemicals. My concern with these is that they are largely untested and going in near schools. As an educator, it appears to me to be one more distraction to kids.
Everyone has the right to chose their path in this world and I support that. I would rather see a little more sensitivity when it comes to placing these stores next to school. We have one less than one minute walking distance from Millikan.

Yes. I agree. Government licensed "news" sources have, of late, been calling for Government "studies" of electronic "cigarettes" that have been invented by the Chinese to satisfy the tax addicted revolutionary political class's tax and control related objections to the use of beneficial tobacco products.

The fact of the matter is that decent partakers of the simple pleasure of using beneficial tobacco tobacco products live just as long as do those who deny themselves that pleasure. This holds true even of those who do not use foreign tobacco products. In fact, most decent tobacco users are far healthier than are those who are the biggest opponents of decent worker *("middle")*class tobacco users. They are certainly more mentally alert and mentally healthy than those who regularly abuse decent women and men - including hard working low paid single moms - who use tobacco products.

The vast majority of deaths are those of decent non tobacco users. In fact, any obituary column of and large American city shows that non-tobacco users begin dying of "natural causes" around age 40. Since the despotic 60s 70s era revolutionary element began their bullying of decent tobacco users, this has been even more true. The true object of their concern is exposed by the fact that since Big Government nationalized Big Tobacco, both Big Government tax revenues and Big Tobacco profits have never been greater.

I also agree with you that the incredibly expensive taxpayer funded Government schools should focus on educating children. Instead, revolutionary activists within the industry go about wasting their time and taxpayer money plastering "NO DECENT TAXPAYER WHO SMOKES TOBACCO IS PERMITTED ON THESE TAXPAYER OWNED PREMISES!" on every entry door of every Government school. Like many other "anti-people" crusades that began in radical revolutionary controlled Long Beach, this waste of taxpayer money has spread to other cities. Is it surprising that California has more poor people than any other State?

To start with, everything I have found during my hours of research are the 4 ingredients. Liquid/water, flavor, nicotine and propylene glycol. The last one is the ingredient that gives the vapor an appearance of smoke. The same is used in fog machines you may have seen at a haunted house during Halloween. It is also used in many products including those you ingest.

Having more than the "4" is possible. I can only go by the labels and many pages of literature I've read. To eliminate chemicals from coming into your body, just stop drinking, eating and breathing. They are everywhere. It's called the "Slow Kill" by the corporations. The frog in the pot of simmering water.

I don't think they are attractive to kids. The young generation has been hammered by the Mainstream Media with "Second Hand Smoke" ads they've seen on television. An electronic cigarette looks too much like real smoking to an onlooker. When I'm out in public using mine, passing kids walking home from school, I see them going out of their way to go around me. They don't want to inhale any of that second hand smoke. Little do they know, it's just vapor.*snickering*

This is where the "Big Boys" find themselves in the middle of their own, push and pull predicament that they created. In the middle of their own ying and yang. They had their own FDA slamming the gavel in court, losing every time. Then they tried with the BBB which was a joke. While the CDC gave it a shot as well. With all losing big time. So what's their last ditch effort? Go for the gusto, go for the gut and state how they could affect a child's life. THAT will get them! In my opinion, if you're so concerned about the children, BAN Vaccines completely!

Now Big Tobacco is on the other side. Walking in with their heads down. "We're sorry for all the false propaganda. In fact, if you can forgive us we'd really like a piece of the pie." So now, three of the largest tobacco companies have come out with their own brand of electronic cigarette. THAT'S where you need to watch for more chemicals than those listed on the label.

Lorilard bought out "Blu Cig" in 2012. Famous makers of Camel and Pall Mall, Reynold American has introduced their own electronic cigarette on the market named, "VUSE". While "Altria" of Phillip Morris, makers of Marlboro was the second company in 2013 to release their brand of electronic cigarette named, "MarkTen". Stay away from ALL of them! That's where you'll find the toxic chemicals.

I remember the Rams of Millikan. I was a Jackrabbit myself. Class of '76. As far as stores go, I wouldn't be too concerned about them. Again, the children remember the second hand smokes ads. For adults looking to kick the habit 90% of the products I've seen in retail are garbage, including Blu Cig. Electronic cigarettes of true quality can only be found and purchased online. The quality is better, the price is more affordable and the customer service is nothing to sneeze at.

Electronic cigarettes are the best alternative I have found to replace lighting up. I was disappointed with one I purchased in a retail store. Then a friend online told me to avoid the stores. Purchase online only. Better prices and quality.

After going to Electronic Cigarettes Stop I found myself reading all the articles and information. After choosing the green smoke brand, I received it in five days with FREE shipping. That was about two months ago and I have not lit up any rolled tobacco for six weeks now.

I would recommend them to anyone thinking about kicking the butts for a new year's resolution. All the holiday discounts are here and will continue online through the end of the year. I'm going to purchase a couple for some friends. The perfect holiday gift.

Great article.

Long Beach is one of the most radical "anti-normal-people" - "anti taxpayer" cities in the entire State.*(This is understandable. The city is home to one of the most radical of California's incredibly expensive taxpayer funded Government university indoctrinational camps)* Since the elderly 60s 70s era revolutionaries and their idiot "Love children" took control of the city’s' political reigns of power, they have inflicted a number of outrageous tax and control related laws on the increasingly impoverished minority of city residents who still pay taxes, despite their failed revolutionary economic programs. For example, included in those infamous tax and control related Council laws is the hated Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax that exempts only those who use various taxpayer funded food stamps of cleverly designed "wealth distribution" names.

Along this same line is the outlawing of decent women and men who enjoy the simple worker *("middle")* class pleasure of an occasional tobacco product from approaching within 20 feet of any revolutionary Council controlled taxpayer owned Government bus stop. Pedestrians and Government bus passengers are constantly annoyed by taxpayer owned Government buses being driven throughout the city blaring amplified threats prohibiting those decent women and men approaching within 20' of Government bus stops are subject to penalties to the fullest extent of revolutionary law - as if the cops don't have their hands full already, what with all the various race and gang wars plaguing the city. This noise pollution is disturbing to little school children who live within earshot of Government bus stops - including girls. It is a wonder how those kiddies are able to keep their minds on doing their homework, instead of on tobacco.

I have a question of you. You say that electronic "cigarettes" are pleasurable, and that it is a "safe" alternative for use by those who currently enjoy Big Government controlled domestic tobacco products. In your opinion, if revolutionary Council were to learn electronic "cigarettes" are enjoyable, will despotic revolutionary Council criminalize decent electronic "cigarette" users who approach within 20 feet of a taxpayer owned Government bus stop in the same manner they have criminalized decent women and men who enjoy the simple pleasure of an occasional tobacco product? Thanking you in advance for your reply;

I would say they are already trying. Not to my experience though. I use the transit district here in Long Beach because I don't drive. I take a hit off my electronic cigarette all the time within 20 feet of a bus stop. This has been near stops that are empty, have others waiting as well and at the end of a route.

Where the bus turns around to head back. Doing a 180 on the route so to speak. The driver usually takes a break for 5 minutes before he has to start trucking again to stay on schedule. I have used my electronic cigarette with them as well looking right at me. They say nothing to me so I'm assuming they know what burning tobacco smells like and guess what, they don't smell it.

They have probably heard of them as well. I haven't watched television for 2 years and all the better for it. However, I hear from others that one of the big tobacco companies decided to buy a company. Get their feet in the door and get a piece of the pie. So big money is running commercials for this Blu Cig (crap) electronic cigarette. LOL The 50s all over again.

So I'm guessing the bus drivers and many of the passengers have seen these ads on TV. When they see me taking a couple hits they probably freak out. Since they look SO real. Seeing the LED light at the end that looks just like the cherry of a cigarette. Then they see me shove it back in my shirt pocket and probably think some crazy thoughts. "DID you see that fool? He just took a few puffs of his cigarette and put it in his pocket." Only to watch and see that nothing starts burning. Especially me. Then come to the realization, "Oh, that must have been one of them new fangled things. What do they call them Ellen?"

Thanks, Ronald. I appreciate all your feedback on my venture.

Great article.

Thank you for your sage wisdom. The radical occupied Long Beach revolutionary activists *(now in power)* of Long Beach seem only interested in matters that increase their power by increasing the tax load on the diminishing already overburdened minority who are still able to pay taxes - despite the failed social and economic programs they have inflicted.

For example, I also ride the taxpayer owned revolutionary controlled local Government buses at times I find it to be convenient. It is unlawful to eat food and sugar saturated soft drinks on local Government buses, yet, one sees on many occasions "women and people of color" bringing such food and drinks on those buses and consuming them. Government bus drivers turn a blind eye to such infractions, perhaps because those Government drivers are women and people of color themselves. I wonder what their response would be were a decent overburdened taxpayer to light up a Government controlled tobacco product?

Long Beach has a long history of periodic "burn-downs" affected by the destructive women and people of color. I hope - despite the best efforts of revolutionary occupied Government activists - to shift the blame from themselves - that the next time they do not take their wrath out on the decent increasingly destitute minority who pay taxes, most of whom are decent non-tobacco users of good-will.

I noticed the headlines in the local "anti-consumer" local Government licensed "news" paper today. They are playing up the revolutionaries' having imposed the despicable Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax on Long Beachers as "a great ideological victory". Let us recall when the war against decent Long Beachers who enjoy the simple worker *("middle")* class pleasure of an occasional tobacco product began. It was this same Government licensed "news" paper that came out in full support - unlike the then "freedom loving" Los Angeles Times.

In order to pay the increased tobacco tax that is the object of that ongoing war, subscribers needed to cancel their subscription and use the money to pay the tax increase. The Government controlled "news" paper then had to increase its price, which resulted in diminished circulation, something the "news" never recovered from.

Are we allowed to *vape* in prison? We aren't allowed to smoke, but this isn't really smoking.

This is what I've been looking for. A place that has reviews where I can learn about this product. Been thinking about making the switch for a while. Now more than ever just to save money. Thanks for sharing this one. Becoming popular and I owe myself something for the holidays.
