Good for him. If he didn't openly profess being a bought and paid for UnionCrat who would sacrifice everything and every one else in service to the Unions he won't stand a chance and would lose like DeLong.

Maybe because, unlike most of the other council members, he's not yet entrenched in special interest groups, or trying to impress other shameless paper-hanging weasels, including the editorial staff at the Press Telegram.
