Chanters strive for singing hearts

Orva Schrock was hooked from the start. Schrock is one of the organizers of "Let Your Heart Sing," a Sanskrit devotional chanting group that meets in downtown Goshen.

This is an ongoing thriving initiative here in an extremely conservative community. It is helping some local citizens find spiritual "fresh air" and relief from organized religious superstitions.

It is not difficult to start a chanting group. I have been involved with several groups and many chanting events over the past 35+ years.
