Scare tactics eh?. Like I said in a previous post. Only results matter and not the under reporting of the media. Californians are running away from California in droves to avoid higher taxes and overbearing regulations. They are running here to Texas. The following cities are in financial distress.

San Diego
Carlsbad
Los Angeles
Long Beach
Santa Ana
Sacramento
Arden
Arcadia
Roseville
Riverside

WHY?.

That is the way it has been in NYC for as long as I can remember. I am originally from an area about five hours from NYC. Those stupid New Yorkers keep voting for liberals (like Bloomberg) who won't let them defend themselves.
I'm sure most of the muggers and looters are Obama supporters though. I just know that they are all for gun control too, for obvious reasons.
But guns and knives are really only tools. Some of us are into Total Focus Training. It makes what I learned in the Marines a joke, even if the principals are the same.
Fun fact for the Obama lovers. Violent crime is up 18% in this country, now. Go right ahead and feel free to blame it all on Bush four years later.
Was just reading the news about how angry they are that their power is still off. Poor little fellers.

I was just having a fb conversation with a friend from California about whether or not gun laws reduce crime, and she was wanting statistics.

1. Statistics are dependant on the data you use and therefore easily manipulated and unreliable.
2. Humans have always been prolific and creative killers, no one more prolific or creative than governments and religious groups. Rocks, guillotines, fire, crucifixion, gas chambers, and so on. Those are devices used by governments to execute.
3. Criminals are by definition lawbreakers so it is beyond my comprehension why any sane person believes you can pass a law to control criminal behavior. Laws give us a standard of behavior to enforce and the means to enforce by punishment. Criminals are deterred by neither law nor the threat of punishment.
4. In Houston people get murdered pretty much daily. Cops shoot criminals on a regular basis. A cop gets killed every few years. Cops legally carry guns. They get killed a fraction as often as the rest of us. Enough said for me to get the picture.
5. The biggest argument against guns in the home is usually the possibility of a criminal taking it and using it against the homeowner. I regularly see on the news reports of home invasions where homeowners are beaten or shot and killed, and we hear fairly often reports of homeowners or business owners who successfully fight back with a gun. In ten years here i do not recall one report about someone disarming the owner and using their own gun against them.

These are my thoughts on guns. The biggest danger to us is the government. Not the criminals. You can fight back against a criminal, but the government can disarm its people and render them powerless to fight.

You dummy. California needs a huge economy. A ghetto house there costs about $200,000. A tiny decent house about $300,000. Don't you think it may all be relative?

Be scared of this: obammy will probably try to do away with term limits and the constitution in general. He has already proven he can be a liar, anti-American, anti-military, anti-gun, ineffective, anti-free speech, and a socialist and still get elected. If he can get rid of term limits and continue to shred the Constitution you better get ready for your a#@ raping.

Amazing! Morons like you are STILL blaming Bush for Obama's failings.
So in 2016, when the economy is still in the tank and unemployment is still high and the debt is around 20 trillion and climbing are you still going to blame Bush? It just shows why Oblamo got re-elected.
Amazing! You are still in denial four years later.

Go on Bozo! Live in that state of denial like this:

"For the second consecutive election — the same was true in 2010 — Rasmussen Reports polls had a statistical bias toward Republicans, overestimating Mr. Romney’s performance by about four percentage points, on average." NYT

Romney is still in a state of denial...may be permanent. GOPOX is probably going to double down on racism, sexism, stupidity, lying.

We'll see. Campaign 2014/16 is on!

The hand writing is on the wall but the problem is that we are not dealing with intelligent people. When the SHTF, these fools will still
blame Bush and whoever else they can, except the jug eared Commie in
the White House and the Commies in Congress .
Most if not all of these dimwits have had a soft easy life for the past 50 years with everything handed to them. We have a period of hardship and misery coming in the near future. The economic failure in this country will be felt worldwide. The Obozo supporters should be proud
of their accomplishment and not whine about what is in store for them,
as well as the rest of us.
This country IS finished.

Last time I checked, The House Of Representatives was part of the Congress. I don't care which side of the same coin controls it. Results matter and quite
frankly I don't like what I see. You people should be thinking like Americans,
not Dems or Repubs.

The divide and conquer strategy is working really well.

Obozo is working on that with the UN, behind our backs. He might try, but the opposition is still too much for him. I am a Life member of the NRA.

I call going to click2houston.com , getting my "daily carnage report". We certainly live around some really sick puppies. The holiday season is almost here and crime will probably go through the roof this year.

Call me what you want and claim to be anything you want. Facts are facts and liars are liars. Come to think of it, Michael Moore became a Life Member
just to get in Charlton Hestons face, didn't he?. Any "legitimate" NRA
member needs to watch very closely.
