these people are full of it. i had a rottweiler that was dumped on me by my loser brother. i couldnt keep him so i called the so called "rescue" league to see if they could take him in and maybe find him a home. well, the rude lady that answered the phone advised me that the only way they could take the dog in was if i had him chipped, neutered and his shots were up to date. as i said, he was dumped on me by my loser brother who had never done anything with this dog. i advised the lady that number 1, he wasnt my dog and 2, i wasnt going to pay all that money to get all that done then "donate" him to them so they could make 150 bucks for getting him adopted.(they offer all of these services so i dont know why they couldnt take care of all this for the dog.) anyways, she said there was no way they would take him in unless all the above was met. well, the dog pound took him right in and put him to sleep and all it cost was 25 bucks. thank you.
