I want to take this time to warn everyone about going to the Hughes Springs Dairy Queen, which is severely infested with cock roaches. I was the manager there once upon a time until I was referred to as the owners "bitch" one too many times and degraded in front of my employees. Mark Liepman and his troll Lorie McCollough are two evil people who treat their employees very badly and unprofessional. We are required to work, as managers, at least sixty hours per week and drive nearly a 100 mile round trip to a staff meeting with no fuel reimbursement. Our employees are severely under paid and often cheated out of hours worked when their check arrives. There is no compassion from these people whatsoever. The stores are running in the ground and they cater to managers who do not produce well at all. For instance, the manager in New Boston's DQ is treated like a golden child yet he runs a high labor cost, food cost and his sales are terrible. Then the fat ass blimp they have in Omaha brags constantly about his food cost and labor in line but never has food product when people go there. He weighs over 400 pounds from all of the burgers and fries he had eat and I was told he has over 100.00 in meals a week taken out of his check. I had a cake box out in my store for months that could not get fixed but he had a small fire and Mark Liepman totally redid his whole store. I couldnt even get them to get rid of the roaches. We were told we cannot hire people with missing teeth, tattoos or criminal backgrounds yet the manager in DeKalb TX went to federal prison for manufacturing meth charges, the Omaha manager went to jail and Lorie was sent to a treatment center for drug abuse. This company is a joke! If you go there, you are supporting people like Mark Liepman who has created a place where people go to work because they have to... Not because they want to.

If they said you can't hire people with missing teeth, evidently Mark has not been to his Airline Drive (Bossier City) location. I was informed Mark told his managers that he do not want an all black restaurant, and that is racist. The management at the Bossier City location is horrible from the GM to the First Assistant. They are loud, ghetto, and obnoxious. They curse to one another in front of the customers and that is very unprofessional. Lorie thinks her shit don't stink. Mark needs to be more involved in his stores and see the trash they are hiring. You could never pay me to visit any stores owned by Mark, I would rather drive to the DQ in Minden, Louisiana that is owned by someone else. Mark do not pay his workers, there are people thats been there for years and only making minimum wage, then the assistants only make $8 for all the work they are required to do. Wake it, its 2013 that little money is not enough to do anything.

Why am i not shicked at what i read. DQ on Greenwood Rd in Shreveport is poorly operated. The morning cook and cashiers all smioke blunts ea day at work and the gm,Richlyn is aware. She says that as long as they di their work she wont address it. The store is infested with roaches,knats,rats and snakes. Theres an uncovered manhole in the bk outside and its filled with sewage water. Pay is pathetic. The staff talks loud and curses out loud in frint of custimers. The gm, Richlyn plays ghetto gangsta rap outloud frim her cell phone. The business phine is used as a house phine by staff,especially the assistant mngr, Arianne. Sharon Phillips complains about foodcosts being high, while all the while, ahe takes things from the store to supply other stores, not to mention the gm, Richlyn freely feeds her kids,their friends,her sister,her baby daddy and her new man. Never in the five years of fastfood that ive worked have i experienced such a hostile,unprofessional,mismana ged place.

You definitely don't want to work in the New Boston store! RUDE, HATEFUL, HORRIBLE! And probably half the employees fit the criteria the owner set for do not hire. Craziness! That restaurant could be so much better than what it is but not the way it's being run right now!

The first manager, James, was awesome. Now, the New Boston store is trash. Garbage trickles down.

Dekalb DQ is AWFUL...you can't here what she says over speaker..order took over 30 min to get then it was WRONG! The grease is old and burnt the food...got Mark's phone number from them and it's disconnected!! Poor Excuse for Owner/Manager!!
All Managers have a picture with number or email to reach them...Not Mark!!
